Might be late but have you checked that your Oracle Schema from which you published the service had writing rights in the DB ? Hello, I am often having issue on Collector for ArcGIS to synchronize (Collector for ArcGIS 10.3.5 on IOS 8.1.2) features services on an ArcGIS Server 10.3.1 with WebAdaptor 10.3.1, secured services with token. Most of the time logs of the server does not tell much : eg : Error executing tool. SyncFeatureServiceReplica Job ID: j1c32475b901842b4878a35d031938d36 : ErrorMsg@SyncGPService:{"code":400,"description":""} Failed to execute (Sync Feature Service Replica). I followed the different tutorials you mentioned to capture traffic with Fiddler so as to check where could the problem come from. It works : when I am asking for a webpage on safari of IPad, I can see the request and answer in Fiddler. Hello, I had the same issue and I found out that you cannot desactivate a field with index (the ones that have a star at the end in the attribute table). Though they are not mandatory fields, as soon as they have an index, it will fail. Hope this can help, Nicolas ... View more

It is funny though because I can access secured services of our ArcGIS server (configured with web-tiers authentification and windows domain store) from ArcGIS Online configured with SAML authentification without any trouble. Just the print service does not work. Do you know how services are called in AGOL cause I try to do the same with js API from a website that requiere to be authenticated with SAML but it does not work. Cheers ... View more

So Collector does try to refresh the password automatically. That is interesting. So there is no need to play with the validity period. Thanks for this precision because I had not understood that. Regarding the network connectivity intermittent, I am a bit sceptical because so far all the tests have been done inside right next to the AP. But I will pay more attention to that from now on. Thanks for these explanations. I find your explanations pretty logical and was already playing with airplane mode so as to be sure that Collector does not check the token. So this is the theory. Now in practice, I will explain you why I said that there was no pattern. For example, I left opened Collector during 4 days and did not touch the Ipad. Then, I came back at my office, I checked that Wifi was on, I refreshed the maps of the application and it did work ! No logging out ! I even killed the app, opened it again , then there was written "Connexion en cours" (something like "Signing in" in English) and Collector did open ! So the token has expired and the refresh should have failed but it worked. I have other experiences when it logged out but most of the time it does not logged though it should. I don't know which authentification you use but here we are using a Web-Tiers one (SAML) for ArcGIS Online and this problem comes from the validity of the token. I got this answer from ESRI support  : "Collector for ArcGIS is a web based application that although is able to download maps to be used in a disconnected environment, it's not solely meant to be used offline. While having the device on airplane mode for an extended amount of time, you will eventually see that your IDP token is going to expire and Collector will need to re-authenticate in order to stay logged in. This is how web applications are handled, so this is not something that would be specific to Collector - you would encounter it with any mobile application that uses a SAML authentication method". What we did is set up a protocol to log again at specific hour because as the plan is to be able to use Collector also in an emergency scenario, we have to be able to use it anytime in a disconnected environment. I am still a bit surprised by this answer because I was able to keep Collector opened for weeks and playing with it but the token is valid less than a day. All right thanks. After talking with our IT they have disabled IPV6 on the server and since then we do not have the problem anymore. The thing is, according to our IT, "disabling IPV6 in Windows 2008 R2 is not recommended and not tested\supported by Microsoft" ... So I wish there were a better solution because we might have soon bad surprises. But ArcGIS Server is supposed to be fully IPV6 comptatible : 38707 - Does ArcGIS Server support IPv6? Another interesting thing that our IT underlines is that it seems like the IP of DC (Domain Controler) is truncated by ArcGIS Server  and this is the reason why I guess it is not able to connect. Thanks for your answers and for the bug report. Indeed, it works for me as well when security for virtual directories is disabled. But it is taking a longer time than usual. Exactly the same problem with :      - ArcGIS server 10.3.1      - HTTPS only      - GIS-tier authentication      - Feature service with sync enabled I cannot download the map if credentials are stored in the feature layer but it works if they are not stored. When credentials are stored, it is important to notice that I can see layers in Collector but not download them. The error message in Collector is : "The requested URL was not found on this server". When checking the feature properties, URL of the layer follows the following pattern : https://utility.arcgis.com/usrsvcs/servers/......someId...../rest/services/folderName/ServiceName/FeatureServer/X and I have also an error 403 : You do not have permissions to access this resource or perform this operation.
