This cannot be done on the hosted version of the crowdsource application. The features service query sorts the features by creation date. The only way to change this would be to download the source code and modify the query to the feature service.

Hi Dan, At this time, we are not planning to break any existing stories. We are only planning to enforce HTTPS content for all new stories and new content that is added to existing stories. In my stories, existing stories will receive HTTP content warning. In new stories, HTTP content will be displayed as errors. That being said, we highly recommend updating your servers to support HTTPS connections. If anyone loads your story over an HTTPS connection, most embedded HTTP content (layers, iframes, images) are already being blocked by modern browser like Chrome, Firefox, and Safari. This is a security restriction by the browser that we cannot override and why we are providing the warnings. In June, Chrome (and other browser following) will begin showing a "Not Secure" warning to all your readers. HTTPS is a best practice for the modern web and there are even ways to get free SSL Certificates for your servers. More information is available here: Frequently Asked Questions | Story Maps.

Hi Brandon, we have heard the need from others to print their Cascade Story Maps and we will be releasing that functionality in the next release of ArcGIS Online. That release is planned for next week if you are able to wait till then.

Michael, unfortunately I will not be able to help though the forum because I can't access any of your personal account information. You'll need to contact Esri's Technical Support so they can track down exactly what happened and why your data is missing.

Unfortunately, I cannot see the item at all just by looking at the URL. Is it shared privately? I'd be happy to see if I can help via the forum but you will need to shared the item publicly. Because you can no longer access the builder, try opening the item from ArcGIS Online => My Content. If you are unable to share the map publicly, you'll need to contact Esri Tech Support.

You'll have to have edit permissions on the feature service if you want to remove contribution. This is limited to the owner and organization admins by default. To remove posts from just the crowdsource application, you can "reject" them (see step 10 in this tutorial: Story Map Crowdsource Tutorial | Story Maps). You can also filter your view of points so you don't keep seeing the rejected points even in the editor. If you want to permanently delete the features, you can open the features service in ArcGIS Online. Then choose the "Edit with admin permission." That will allow you to delete any point you select.

The Story Map Crowdsource Beta is no longer in active development. It was used as a proof of concept and to push for new features in our Online platform including social login, additional feature service capabilities, and better image processing. Instead, we plan to build crowdsourcing in as a feature to our other story map apps, although this will be farther into the future. Our team felt that Esri's other crowdsourcing apps already served the majority of the stand-alone crowdsourcing needs (Survey123, Crowdsource Reporter, etc.). For more information, you can read this FAQ on our website: Frequently Asked Questions | Story Maps .

We generally do not recommend adding a layer on/off list to story maps. Unless you are a subject expert of the story map you are reading, most users do not understand why they should turn some layers on and other layers off. This is why we have intentionally left this feature out of our applications. Instead, we find it better for the author to set up specific views and lead their audience through the different bullets using the advanced map bookmark feature we provide. If you know you are sharing the app with subject experts, the easiest way to accomplish this is to publish the map to one of the other templates on ArcGIS Online that includes the layer list on/off buttons. Then embed that template as a web page into the Story Map Series (bulleted layout).

Unfortunately, this is not possible with the hosted version of the app. Font Awesome requires adding additional CSS and or JavaScript to your app. For security reasons, ArcGIS Online does not allow users to upload code that can be executed from our servers. You'll need to download the app source code and add it from there.

With AMD loading, we only load the JavaScript modules we need when we need them. Most of the modules are from the JavaScript API so that is the default location. We specify a few other folders to load files from in the app: storymap-journal/main-config.js at master · Esri/storymap-journal · GitHub. The app folder is one of these location so you can include the necessary files under the app folder and reference it with the app prefix: 'app/jquery-ui/autocomplete'.

Marissa, it order to set the map options when the map first loads, you'll need to use the developer version of the code. That version will give you full access to the source code before it has been minified for production use. Once you make the changes, the app provides scripts to minify and concatenate your code to prepare it to put on your own web server for production use. The Readme on the github repo provides instructions: GitHub - Esri/storymap-shortlist: The Shortlist story map application template by Esri. In the Shortlist, the createMap method is available here: storymap-shortlist/MainView.js at ea33cfd3bea616a8fd57ca8a0970429ea8592028 · Esri/storymap-shortlist · GitHub. A full list of options is available here: Map | API Reference | ArcGIS API for JavaScript 3.23. You'll probably want to disable smartNavigation and isScrollWheel.
