Yes, all of our templates are available for download and you are welcome to modify them as you wish. We have done something similar in the past with our solar power story map: http://storymaps.esri.com/stories/solarplants/.

Can you reply with a link to a public version of your webmap? I'd be happy to investigate.

If you open the config file, you will see the option "startCountOnSecondTab." This is set to true by default but if you set it to false, it should start counting on the first tab.

Here's the ArcGIS Online documentation: http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/arcgisonline/index.html#//010q00000076000000 You'll want to look under the "Add apps" section.

It looks like the code that hooks these settings up to the API was left out in the most recent update. I just pushed a new version that should include everything you need. If you download the latest version and are still having trouble, let us know.

Hallo, I tried both, "B" and "b", but it makes no sense. The Readme-file explains the "Color"-field like that: "Color ?? use if two icon colors are desired. Using ??b? will display a blue icon, otherwise red will be used. If the field is not present all icons will be red." I have really no idea... Marko It looks like one of the latest releases introduced a bug that kept the app from reading the color field correctly. I've updated the app to resolve this. If you are able to download the source code again, this bug will be fixed.

I've downloaded the lastest Playlist version and it is working well in Firefox. When using IE9 or IE11 (haven't tested other versions) a single click on the markersymbol on the map does nothing. A double click will bring up the popup window but it also zooms the map. Can this be fixed so IE behaves the same as Firefox? See example here: http://pca-gis02.pca.state.mn.us/nfcr/index.html This bug has been fixed. Just update your app with the most recent code.

I've just tested the download again and it looks like the download is functioning properly. Could you try clearing your cache and then download the code again. If you are still having issues, can you post a public version of the web map you are using in the playlist app?

Sorry, we had included a small snippet of code left in that helped us test the template on mobile devices. I removed it and updated the download.

While this is possible, you will need a basic to intermediate knowledge of JavaScript. Adding this type of function to the template is not a simple configuration but requires additions to the source code.

If you are creating many map tours with the same look and feel (color scheme, logo, etc.), another option would be to download the source code and modify the index.html file with your custom CSS and logo and host it on your server. From there, you can create a map tour with the interactive builder in ArcGIS Online. Once you have added the photos and text, you can use the appID that you see in the URL and append it to url of the map tour hosted on your organization's server. It will use all the application data that you added through the builder and always allow you to edit the app through the builder but the color scheme will be overridden by the new code you insert. An example URL might be: http://www.sample.com/map-tour/?appid=18ea32008c3f43a898096f4e30e85e79 Any time you create a new map tour, you can use the same URL but just switch out the AppId (in red).

The playlist template does not have the ability to load a new web map for each item in the list but we do have a couple other templates that should do what you want. The closest and best option would be to use our Side Accordion template. The templates features a list along the left side of the map that will load a new web map. The app also features responsive design so it will work on smartphones. Another option is our text and legend template that will add tabs along the top of the map to open additional web maps. If you have any time enabled maps, you will want to use this template.

The main reason that the playlist has been limited to 99 points is because that is the maximum number of numbered icons that we have created for each color. In order to add new points, you will need to manually create new icons if you would each icon to contain a number. I've attached the Photoshop files to make it a little easier. For each icon, you will need to open the appropriate Photoshop file, change the text layer with the new number (you will probably need to adjust the font size to make sure it fits within the pin), then "save as" the icon as a jpg. You will need to save the new jpeg with the exact same file name (changing only the number portion) and in the correct color folder. Once you have added the new icons, you will need a JavaScript developer to modify the source code to allow for more than 99 points.
