is there a way to populate the To/From info with an intersecting road name? i.e. If Main St. starts at First Ave. and ends at Fifth Ave. I would like the From value to be First Ave. and the To value to be Fifth Ave.

Getting close to the end of the day here, but I would recommend looking into experience builder. I have used it internally to allow staff to select a road segment from a pre-existing line feature class and add new information using Survey123. I would recommend watching this Webinar as well since it has some really good info about new functionality in Survey123 (i.e. editing attributes & geometry): Spring Into Top Form with ArcGIS Survey123 (esri.ca)

Instead of creating a second layer that contains the same data, you can use the offset line options in the symbology properties of your feature class; assuming you have the variations stored in the attribute table.

Is it possible to create multiline labels in map viewer classic without using the split function? I've launched the election solution which was created using map viewer classic. I would like to label my precincts by their number and name (i.e. Precinct 01 Cambell) with a line break after the number. My current arcade expression looks something like the following and returns a single line label: var code = $feature.districtid;
if (code == '01'){
return "Precinct 01" + TextFormatting.NewLine + "Cambell"
}
else if (code == '02'){....

What sort of automation are you looking to perform? I have a simple model that I created in ArcGIS Pro that automatically runs every day at 1pm. Schedule geoprocessing tools—ArcGIS Pro | Documentation

With ArcGIS for Office you can add a map to your excel document, edit your excel table and and push the changes to an ArcGIS Online feature layer which can be opened in ArcGIS Pro. I think it would work perfectly for the second scenario that you outlined above. ArcGIS for Office | Create Maps in Excel & Microsoft Products (esri.com)

I have launched the Election Data Management solution and would like to symbolize the voting locations based on the comment field. I have 1 symbol for a specific comment (Special voting location) and a different symbol to display the rest of the values which are grouped together. The grouped symbols (regular voting locations) are more important than the special voting locations and therefore I would like them to draw FIRST. I can't seem to drag the grouped layer to the top and if I try to drag the special voting locations down they are consumed into the group rather than moved down in the drawing order. Is there a work around for this that I'm missing?

That's exactly what I was looking for! I see it in the Task list now - I must have skipped over that part when configuring my application for the first time. Unfortunately it won't work for my situation since the polling locations are only open on Saturday Oct. 15 & Monday Oct. 24. If I were to configure the operating hours attribute as specified in the documentation, my poll locations would appear to be open on Monday Oct. 17 and Saturday Oct. 20, which would be incorrect. As a work around I used one of the other fields (pocname) to store my hours and was able to reference that attribute in the Custom Attribute Display instead.

Hi Andy, It isn't clear to me where I can indicate the hours of operation for each of the voting locations. I add a new attribute to the table (hours) in ArcPro as each location is only open on the early voting date (October 15) & regular voting date (October 24) from 10am-4pm. The attribute displays in ArcGIS Pro but when I look at the layer on ArcGIS Online it doesn't appear, therefore I cannot reference it in the pop-up configuration.

Is it possible to show the legend in the map instead of inserting it in app builder, or can I configure the app to show multiple widgets at the same time? I'm fairly new to app builder and am trying to reconfigure a web app that was preconfigured with an ArcGIS Solution that I have launched (Election Data Management). I want the legend to be visible to the user without having to navigate away from the Near Me widget which is one of the major focuses of the app.

Hi Mike, Can you send me a link to the lesson if it's available? I'm currently stumbling my way through configuring the Election Data Management solution. I have figured out how to customize a few things in the Voting Centers app and will be working on the My Elected Representatives app next. I've been searching for a way to add the legend to my app so that it's visible to the public without them having to toggle between widgets in the Header Controller (I want my app to be very user friendly). Any insights would be appreciated!

Can someone please let me know how to change the arcade expressions in the voting center web map in arcgis online for the Election Data Management Solution? I'm wondering if I need to add an hours attribute to my table and somehow reference it in the app. Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm trying to incorporate the near tool but I don't believe it is behaving. I assume that the NEAR_DIST field populates to -1 if another point isn't within my 5m search distance. The first time I ran my model I did see one field populate with the id of a point that was within 5m, but since then I only see -1 in all of the processed features so I don't think the tool is working properly. And so the testing continues.

There may be a point within a distance of the iterated feature. For example, if 5 Main St. has been issued a license and is already in the ApprovedLicense feature class, when 5 Main St. is iterated over in the AddressPoint feature class I don't want it to be appended. Typically we place the address point near the centre of the house but it's not necessarily going to have the exact same geometry as that of the ApprovedLicense point, which is why I set my search radius to 10m in the If Spatial Relationship Is tool above.
