Hi! I would like to get information about the service urls privided at my onw portal. So like to start with Esri::ArcGISRuntime::Portal, but how? There are so many examples using Portal, don´t know where is a simple on (as less QML as possible)? How do i get my url? (one of my REST-URLs is "http://XXXX.de/arcgis/rest/services/Bremen/BremenElevation/ImageServer " Do i have to use credentials? I would like to start very simple, just get list of basemap or items...) Got errorCode 25, like error occured realted to SSL... Pltaform codes are NOT here (Error Class | ArcGIS for Developers ), but would be nice to have i link... Should be here (Platform error codes—ArcGIS Runtime SDK for .NET (WPF) | ArcGIS for Developers )? But can`t find code 25.... My Portal doesn´t have a CA, so using the browser i have to accept ssl messages od create exception. Will it work? Thx in advance! Norbert

Hi Luke! I tried your map using linux and get the identical error message. But then i ask my colleague: The same code works fine under windows. Fortunately we have to use that code under windows and not linux... From my point of view it´s a linux specific bug 😞 Thanks a lot Norbert

Hi Luke! Thanks for your quick answer! In the meantime recognized: Maybe our cache of ArcGIS Server 10.5.0 does not match the requirements of V100.3? I will compare the directory structure. I will check your attachment tomorow and let you know. Thanks a lot! Norbert

Hi! I have to transfer a couple of maps to a laptop without access to the geoserver. Therefore i would like copy the arcgisserver cache of a MapService and read the date using TileCache. (Using the url of the geoserver instead of the local file path works fine.) Doc: The TileCache is persisted as either a tile cache folder or a tile package (*.TPK) file on the device's file system. QString tiledBaseMapLayer = QLatin1String(".....arcgisServerCache/Guez_Topo_32632_guez_topo_32632/Guez Topographic"); Esri::ArcGISRuntime::TileCache *tpkCache = new Esri::ArcGISRuntime::TileCache(tiledBaseMapLayer, this); Esri::ArcGISRuntime::ArcGISTiledLayer *tiledLayer = new Esri::ArcGISRuntime::ArcGISTiledLayer(tpkCache, this); tiledLayer->load(); Unfortunately i get loadError: Esri::ArcGISRuntime::Error: code=14, domain=0, extendedErrorType=-1, message='File not found', additionalMessage='' The directory looks like this: ctc@CTCAP15:~/arcgisServerCache/Guez_Topo_32632_guez_topo_32632> ./Guez Topographic ./Guez Topographic/conf.cdi ./Guez Topographic/conf.properties ./Guez Topographic/Conf.xml ./Guez Topographic/Status.gdb ./Guez Topographic/Status.gdb/a00000001.gdbindexes ./Guez Topographic/Status.gdb/a00000001.gdbtable ./Guez Topographic/Status.gdb/a00000001.gdbtablx ./Guez Topographic/Status.gdb/a00000001.TablesByName.atx ... ../Guez Topographic/_alllayers ./Guez Topographic/_alllayers/L00 ./Guez Topographic/_alllayers/L00/R0080C0100.bundle ./Guez Topographic/_alllayers/L01 ./Guez Topographic/_alllayers/L01/R0180C0280.bundle ./Guez Topographic/_alllayers/L02 Is that a possible way? (copy directory and consume using TileCache and ArcGISTiledLayer? On-Demand approaches are already considered.... Thx in advance!!! Norbert

Hi Kwasi! So, if i request the debug smybols netxt time (maybe V100.3.1) i will get them at the relase date (or maybe the next day) Can you confirm? (We need the very quickly after release!) Btw: Why is such a complicated process required to get the debug symbols? As a customer i would prefer to download the files at that moment when i download the SDK.... (Maybe within the MyEsri portal.) It would be simple, very effective, no delay, no confusion, no questions, no analyst would be involved .... This time at least 6 ESRI employees people were involved... Thx

Hi Eric! If he is not on vacation, that should work, of course. Thank you very much for your support. I would nice to understand, why access to this data is limited. Is´t possible for you to explain or does it takes to much time? Thanks in advance Norbert

Hi Eric! Thank you. Unfortunately the German Support was surprised about my question. So i pleased them be prepared at the release date (end of next week!?). But they prefere to wait until the release date and start the investigation to get the debug symbols then. (Maybe a delay of one week.) I have to save time and therefore my question. Can you provide a contact adress for the German Support team regarding this issue? (I would be so easy if there would be a simple download link.) Thanky you and greetings from Germany

Thanks in advance Edit: Now, V100.6 is released and it is still a problem to get the debug symbol right now. Support said: it could take up to 2 weeks" - can´t believe 😞

Hi Luke! So i would like to suggest to add some picture to methods like 'clip' or 'cut' to illustrate these methods... I can remember that i have seen some ESRI website describing clip, cut, difference based on pictures (10.2.6). I found it: https://developers.arcgis.com/qt/10-2/qml/guide/geometry-operations.htm But this chapter is missing in 100.2.1...

Hi Troy! As promised, i verified your assumption. From my point of view your are completely right: Esri::ArcGISRuntime::SpatialReference sr = Esri::ArcGISRuntime::SpatialReference::wgs84(); p1 = Esri::ArcGISRuntime::Point(8.0, 53.0, sr); p2 = Esri::ArcGISRuntime::Point(9.0, 53.0, sr); // create Polyline: Esri::ArcGISRuntime::PolylineBuilder polylineBuilder(sr, this); polylineBuilder.addPoint(p1); polylineBuilder.addPoint(p2); const Esri::ArcGISRuntime::Geometry &geometryOut = Esri::ArcGISRuntime::GeometryEngine::densify(polylineIn, 0.1); const Esri::ArcGISRuntime::Polyline polylineOut(geometryOut); qCritical() << "polylineOut.parts().part(0).pointCount() = " << polylineOut.parts().part(0).pointCount(); The result is 11. Thx a lot Norbert
