Also, like I previously mentioned when I'm publishing from ArcMap by turning off the fields they do not show up, however when the feature service is exported as a result of a query from a Web AppBuilder (not developer version) the x, y and wkid fields/columns show up. How can I suppress them? Thank you. Abi

Hello GIS friends, I'm trying to create a feature service layer from ArcGIS Pro by making some fields invisible so they do not appear in the feature service, but it is not working for me. I'm able to make the fields invisible in Pro, but when I create the service the fields still show up in the service. I do not want them to show up. What am I doing wrong? I could easily do this in ArcMap by right mouse clicking on the feature class in the table of contents and going to properties then to the 'field' tab and turning off fields that I did not want to show up in the feature service and it worked great. How can I make this happen from Pro? The reason I'm doing this is so when people are extracting CSV file from the feature service those fields do not get extracted. Thank you for your great help! Abi

Thank you Annina! I do not remember changing that to a Dark Gray Canvas, but after you said I changed the Org setting for basemap back to topographic basemap.

My GIS friends, I am trying to digitize a polygon in ArcGIS Pro, but my direction and distance are turned on. I have right mouse clicked and tried all sorts of different things to remove it, but it is not going away. I do not know how that started in the first place. Please tell me how to make my mouse digitize normally again. I have restarted Pro but the problem still persists. Thank you for you suggestions. Abi

There is a tool (batch attribute editor widget) in the Web AppBuilder widgets that allows changing like attributes for multiple features/records at the same time. However, I am looking for edit widget that will allow me to open up the attribute table for a feature service layer and change the attribute value of features from the table just like we do it ArcMap or ArcGIS Pro. Would you be able to suggest a workflow for editing attributes directly on the attribute table in a Web AppBuilder application? Thank you very much. Abi

Hello GIS friends, It is Monday and we are all hard at it and I am no exception! I am trying to batch load built-in Portal members/users from a CSV file but it is not working for me. It says I need to have a CSV file that must contain a header (first line) with these field names: Email, First Name, Last Name, Username, Password, Role and Level. I have what it says I must have. It even lets me upload the file and review, but when I go to add members it says unable to add the following members and lists the entire member list. What am I doing wrong folks? Please send suggestions. Thank you much and have a great day! Abi

Hello GIS friends, I have a feature service that was behaving as expected when I had it on a Web AppBuilder app on ArcGIS Online. However, now I have Portal installed and the same feature service is not behaving as expected. I have "Enable ownership-based access control on features" checked especially so no one can alter or edit the geometry except for the creator of the data. Unfortunately, I do not seem to get it to work. Others are not able to edit the attributes or delete the geometry which is great, but they are able to alter the geometry (cut, reshape, union, etc.) despite of checking 'Disable Update Geometry' in the Web AppBuilder. This was not the case on the same feature service in an ArcGIS Online Web AppBuilder application. Unfortunately, this is the case on the same feature service in a Portal Web AppBuilder application. I need your input so I can resolve the issue. Thank you in advance.
