How did you install the add-in? ArcGIS Pro has a sequence of where to look for addins. I have seen this before where the updated one was in a folder defined in the addins location config and the old one was still in the Documents folder which happens to be the last place to load from and therefore my old addin was being loaded again. I can't remember the sequence but it's documented in the SDK github pages somewhere

Carl, Can you please provide some more information & screenshots of what you are doing? Changing a Network Attribute and saving those edits would cause a dirty area in any application (eg Experience Builder, ArcGIS Pro, ETL/script)

Fay, You don't need an admin account to generate a token using the REST endpoint. Any named user account can be used to generate a token which is what happens when the user logs in. The difference will be the content that account has access to & privilege the user can do. I currently have several named user accounts with various privileges (eg. different role) used for integration/reporting purposes that generate their own tokens to then access content, write data, etc. There is an endpoint that doesn't need a password but needs a registered application within Portal which uses a callback url to exchange keys, etc using OAuth . This can be a little difficult with Python, etc with spinning up a web server to listen on a predefined port and a few other things. I haven't done this before but there examples out there. Good luck

Rafa, I personally would create a separate service for the visualisation purposes of the UN features. In the Electric Utility I work for we have the UNM service is used just for editing the network, UN functions only on a separate server site and the visualisation services is published to a different server site to have different symbology, configurations, number of instances, different server sizes in AWS. Having different services allows you to control access via portal groups (eg. security). Esri Inc does have a document relating to best practices and an item on there talks about workload separation and the above is how we have tackled that

Raise this issue through Esri Inc Support. We are having similar issues and working with Esri Inc UN dev team to solve. What's version of UNM & Enterprise are you on. I'm currently using ArcGIS Pro V2.7.4 with ArcGIS Enterprise 10.8.1 with UN Patch 6 using UNM V3. Good luck

We have the same process with a protected default for our Utility Network. An ArcGIS Pro project was developed to allow our users to edit the utility network along with a few admins tasks. The user selects which service they want to post their version based on layers within the project file. After the service is selected, a dropdown is populated with what versions are available. User selects the version from the list and completes the task. The task then calls a GP Tool what was developed with the account information that published the utility network and this user runs the required steps to post the version to Default. At the time, this was the only solution as we were using ArcGIS Enterprise 10.7.1 We have since upgraded to 10.8.1 but have left the process the same. Hope this helps

I assume the log files has all the relevant information required? You should be able to build yourself a python toolbox to read the log file and then preform whatever operation you require (eg. search for feature, insert features, etc)

Hussein, If you could provide the BUG number would be greatly appreciated. I'm talking with Tom Brown about our ArcGIS Pro project for editing the Utility Network and he was asking why certain configurations were done and replied it was due to this bug. Tom has asked me to find out what the bug is for him. Thanks

Hi MK, I would email Esri Inc to double check. There is an email link on the UN cert webpage. The reason is that I have been inquiring about this certification too this week and a rep from Esri Inc said there was no pre-reqs. All I had to do was purchase a voucher to be used at any time I like when I'm ready to do the exam. Good Luck
