Hi all, I'm looking at cleaning up the domain lists in the Utility Network asset package before starting to add new coded domains that apply to our organisation. I have copied & pasted some of the existing domains (eg. ElectricTransmission_6_AssociationStatus) and called it 'Electric_AssociationStatus' to cleanup the misleading names, ease for future reference (eg. no transmission domain network in the model), etc. When in the Feature Class 'Fields' editing view, I select the new domain from the list After making the change, click the 'Save' button and the error occurs. Other domains assigned to fields I have been able to change without an issue (eg. nominalvoltage) Has anybody else had this issue? Thanks

Paul, Thankyou for the information to allow me go digging more into this. What I found is there are no attribute rules configured on the feature classes within the asset package. The database sequences & attribute rules are created when the package is deployed to an enterprise geodatabase. The sequences defined are for the assetid field. I was going to ask where is this configured if not against the feature class and then I found the records in the B_AttributeRules table. Thanks again for your help.

Hi there, Does anybody know what the names mean in the B_DatabaseSequence table within the asset package file geodatabase? Also, can these be altered and what additional modifications need to be done? There seems to be some hard coding in the utility network/untools python package that it knows which sequence to use. It would be great to have a better naming convention Thanks

James, Thanks for the info. This is the part of the SAML response when I log in relating to groups. I'm getting my Azure admin person to tell me what the names of the GUIDs are.

Hi Howard, Can you please confirm the minimum versions of the software required (eg. FME 2018.1, ArcGIS Pro V2.3.2) for this and the versions used (eg. Electric package V2.0.1)? Thanks

Hi there, I am having trouble finding information about how to setup Azure AD to manage user membership via groups. We have the corporate AD groups & users syncing to Azure AD and we also have enterprise logins via IDP working too. Enable group memebership within the IDP setting has been enabled too. A Portal group has been created with the enterprise group name filled out with the name of the corporate AD group that has been synced to Azure AD but with no luck with user membership. Could someone please point me in the right direction. Thanks

Brian, I have a few questions about your question/answer above Where are group and pre-set templates stored? (3/15/2019) You mentioned templates can be saved within project file. To me this implies there are other places where this can be saved. What are these other places where these can be saved? If I need to make an update to the 'service territory' feature, what do I do? (3/15/2019) Can you please expand on this answer. Do you have to rebuilt the EGDB first, or just apply the modified asset package over the top of the previous implementation? I'm trying to gauge the overall effort required to determine do I just substantively oversize the territory polygon upfront Can you change the features classes or layer names? (3/15/2019) Asset types can be added, but the best practice is to add a new asset group - Can you please expand this in further details as I don't understand if a new asset type for a given asset group is to be added, how do you perform the best practice of adding it to a new asset group? Thanks for any feedback

Hi there, Could the user's role be assigned via a configured attribute within the SAML assertion. This seems to be the missing piece when setting up enterprise logins via IDPs

Wim, There is way to connect them together. When you're setting up the survey, you have to add another field that is hidden to pass the ID of the workforce record over. When you are in Workforce configuration for Survey123 integration, after selecting the survey you select the field you wish pass over

My thought would be to use Collector to modify existing feature attributes or have a web app with editing capabilities enabled as this is not the purpose of Survey123

Sandeep, I would put a request in to your distributor to find out. Having said that, this is what I have found because I'm looking at the same thing. You will require a licence per ArcGIS server and you can use the same named user licence file for Portal as long as you don't exceed the total number of distinct named user count. Since this is HA config, the named users will be the same across the 2 servers hosting Portal. Esri Inc had confirm this for me about 6 months ago as I was looking into how to split the named users across multiple environments (eg. DEV, SIT, UAT & PRD) and they told me I didn't need split it as long the total count of distinct named users across all the environments didn't exceed the number of the named users that was provisioned. Good luck with this

Edd, If you change the setup of the WA for Portal to enable SSO (IWA), then your users don't need to worry about any of this. I have done this for the organisation that I work for and it works well with the users don't need to anything other than just going to the Portal WA url Regards
