Hi Curtis The Fix Database option operates on the database stored in the app's Databases folder, for example C:\Users\<Username>\ArcGIS\My Surveys\Databases (on Windows). Refer to the Storage settings section here: Quick reference—Survey123 for ArcGIS | Documentation. The idea is to copy the database from your mobile device to the Databases folder on your computer then use the Fix Database option in the desktop field app. Open the survey to check that the survey records have been restored, then submit from there. As mentioned in the recovery steps, you must have the survey(s) downloaded to the field app before using Fix Database. The second set of steps should only be necessary if the above does not work and refer to updating the paths stored in the SQLite database itself. Cheers, Jim

Hi Luke I've just tested the script and was able to successfully download the data for a survey I own. I have ArcGIS Desktop 10.7 installed with Python 2.7.15. Here are the parameters I used: And here's the log: The script also ran successfully for a feature layer on a 10.7.1 Portal. The KeyError suggests that in the list of item IDs returned there's no match for the featureService_ID parameter. If I enter a dummy item ID for this parameter I receive the same error you're seeing. Do your parameters look similar to the above? Best, Jim

Hi Jim Just to confirm, are you entering the item ID of the feature layer that contains the survey data (as opposed to the survey's Form item)? And is this feature layer owned by the user whose credentials you've entered in the script? Best, Jim

Hi Curtis Before heading down the Python route, I just thought I'd check if you've checked out the Recover data from a mobile device section in the Survey123 documentation? Troubleshoot—Survey123 for ArcGIS | Documentation The steps described here can help you recover data from the SQLite database and then resubmit each record. Best regards, Jim

Hi For two time questions, you could use something like: int(${endtime} - ${starttime}) div (1000 * 60) Note that this returns elapsed minutes. For more information please see this handy blog and documentation: https://community.esri.com/groups/survey123/blog/2016/04/17/dates-and-time-in-survey123-for-arcgis Decimal date time—Survey123 for ArcGIS | Documentation Best regards, Jim

Hi Marques Each record in your feature service has a unique objectId; you can access a specific record by modifying the objectId in the URL. The blog covers a way to launch the web app using the correct URL for each record from a pop-up in a web map. Alternatively, you could browse, select and edit records on the Data tab on the Survey123 website. Or as mentioned you can browse and edit records from the Inbox in the field app (note that the field app can be installed on desktop as well as on a mobile device). Cheers, Jim

Hi Marques It sounds like you're submitting a new record, as opposed to editing an existing one. It is possible to edit existing records in the web app using URL parameters. Please see this handy blog: https://community.esri.com/groups/survey123/blog/2019/05/24/survey123-tricks-of-the-trade-editing-records-in-a-web-form Alternatively, you can browse and edit existing records via the Inbox in the Survey123 field app. For more information: Prepare for editing existing survey data—Survey123 for ArcGIS | Documentation Edit existing survey data—Survey123 for ArcGIS | Documentation Hope this helps. Hi Maaza To help diagnose the cause of the issue, could you please provide the detailed steps that you took in the lead-up to the deletion? Did you use any of the menu options from the cloud icon (see below) for a survey that was not stored on your local machine? Note that Connect manages surveys on the local machine through the files and folders in My Survey Designs. SQLite is used by the Survey123 field app, however there is no SQLite database used by Connect. Regarding your second question - a survey can have only one owner (author). You could maintain a shared XLSX file in OneDrive or SharePoint or similar that allows multiple users to edit it; however, the updated XLSX file would still need to be migrated to Connect and published by its owner as required. Best regards, Jim

Hi Lesley This error can occur when the publishing process attempts to create a folder that already exists in your ArcGIS Online/Enterprise account. If the existing folder in your account is empty and/or safe to remove, you could delete it and try publishing again. Alternatively, you could try publishing this survey using a different name so that it creates a new folder. Hope this helps! Best regards, Jim

Hi Bryan You could save at least one line by showing the result in a note; store the calculation in a calculate question (which is hidden), then show the result in a note using a label like: Stationing: ${calc1} You could instead put the result in the hint for the integer question. Alternatively, with the theme-grid appearance you can display questions side-by-side in cells. For more info, see this blog https://community.esri.com/groups/survey123/blog/2019/11/20/survey123-tricks-of-the-trade-groups-grids-and-pages and our documentation Appearance—Survey123 for ArcGIS | Documentation. There's also an XLSForm sample in Connect named Grid Style Groups. Hope this helps, Jim

Hi Maria If you test the scenario using "Run once" and submit a survey response, is the payload successfully received by the Watch survey module? Hi BRYAN HERRON Just to double-check, the user will input the digits in an integer question, is that right? The format you're after would need to be stored in a text question to accommodate the plus sign. One way to achieve this could be to use a combination of the string-length() and substr() functions, as described here: Formulas—Survey123 for ArcGIS | Documentation A calculation for the text question could look something like the below (given an input in an integer question called "int1"), but you would need to test this to make sure it works for your application. The calculation below should work for three-digit numbers and greater; you could then incorporate it into a nested if() statement to cover the one- and two-digit cases. concat(substr(${int1},0,string-length(${int1})-2),'+',substr(${int1},string-length(${int1})-2,string-length(${int1}))) Hope this helps, Cheers, Jim
