Dasa/Robert, Wouldn't it be possible to have a tool that would only re-project to geographic values on mouse click only instead of continuously? How difficult would this be to do? Does this exist already? Thanks, Jay

Just for future reference, if you have old models (9.3.1, etc) that use the Data Interoperability extension, please make sure you have said extension re-installed (v10) before you try to run said models. If not, they will not even be visible in Catalog. lesson learned

I was wondering if anyone else has noticed this and, if so, what you've done about it. I have a few models that simply don't show up in ArcCatalog 10. Thanks, Jay

Chen, Thanks for the reply. I've tried using focusManager as well, but that doesn't work either. I don't understand why setFocus works on some widgets and not on others. Also, it would be nice to have focus on whatever widget is open upon loading the application. It seems this is even more difficult because you need to take focus from the application itself before you can assign it to any particular widget. Any help anyone could give is appreciated. I've been trying to figure this out for days now. Thanks, Jay

So, does anyone know why I am able to set focus to some TextInput boxes and not some others? For instance, I am able to use setFocus() in the locate widget, but not in the printwidget or searchwidget. Any ideas? Jay

Tony, could you elaborate a bit please? Is there somewhere in the code that the defaults can be changed from black (000000) to, say, red? I know you can use the color picker when you're in the application, but I'm trying to change the defaults. I've noticed there are two lines in the addGras function that specify colors, but changing the values (to, say, FF0000) does not seem to make any difference. The lines are below: var symColor:Number = 0x000000; var symColor2:Number = 0x000000; Thanks, Jay

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knows where you can change the default draw and label colors in Robert Scheitlin's Enhanced Draw Widget? Thanks, Jay

Jackson, I'm using the Sample Flex Viewer and Robert's Banner widget. I'm trying to figure out where to put the function and how to make it work with Robert's code, found here. Actually, for that matter, a different widget that returned Lat/Long on a mouseclick (based off the above conversion) and provided a Lat/Long search option would be perhaps more like what I would like to do. Are you using the Sample Viewer and Coordinate Display/Banner widget? Jay

Does anyone know how one might go about doing something like this for State Plane? We do this in our ArcIMS site, so the cursor's location would be converted on the fly to Lat Long. The numbers for the conversion can be found here. I'm just not sure how to go about it. Any help is appreciated. Thanks, Jay

Robert, that fixed it! Now, is there any way to apply that same tolerance for the Select by Rectangle (Extent) when one uses that tool and simply clicks in one spot? Thanks

Is there some way to make the Select by Point function of the Search Widget recognize point data? Currently, if I try to use the Select by Point button to select a point object, nothing happens. Is it a matter of a tolerance set too low maybe? Any help is appreciated. Also, I am using Rsheitlin's Enhanced SearchWidget with Floating Datagrid, if that makes any difference. Thanks
