Maps in a sidecar will not show clustering. I've got a points layer that I have enabled clustering on in the webmap, but it doesn't show it as clustered in the story map. Map notes won't show up either even when the visibility is toggled on.

I'm finding that when I try to reorder an image that is in float orientation it reverts back to "small" and moves it away from where I tried to reorder it to. It seems to jump to a previous section in the story map, away from where I dragged it to.

I'm trying to add a link to the text in a sidecar, but it seems like you can only do that if the text is in normal paragraph font. It'd be great to be able to add a link to text regardless of whether it's in a heading, sub-header, or regular font.

Ok, thanks Owen. I thought Aravind was referring to the images in the scrolling section of the sidecar, not the main image. Sorry for the confusion.

Hey Vaidila, have you tried just entering it as a map instead of a web app? I see that it works in other areas, but it might help for that one on p.10 since you're trying to switch the panels from one side to the other over the same map. Something about it being a web app might be complicating things. If you really wanted people to be able to interact with the content you could always put a link in the sidecar to the web app. It looks like a great project though, all bugs aside.

I can't seem to find this feature for images in StoryMaps. The only options I'm given for images in a sidecar are to move it with the drag tab or to add alternative text. Is there something else I need to do in order to change the fit?

I apologize for my unfamiliarity with this, but where can I go to find this feature? Is it only available in the new version of story maps? It certainly sounds like something that I would be really interested in utilizing.

Has much thought been put into using story maps as a presentation tool instead of something like PowerPoint? It seems like this could be a great way to deliver a presentation, the act of having to scroll just might throw things off a bit. It would be nice if it could just advance to a specified point, like a bookmark, with the click of a button, but still retain the same movement of scrolling.

Thanks Amanda for the post and Owen and the rest of the story maps team for getting on it so quickly. The new version of story maps just seems to be lacking in the customization arena, which is what I loved about the original so much. For that reason, I'm waiting for the new version to get up to speed a bit before I switch over to it. I agree with all of the suggestions being proposed and would just like to point out the ones that would be most useful to me: The ability to duplicate sidecar slides. I've seen this in other posts, but just wanted to reiterate it. It was a very helpful feature for me to use instead of a time slider which can be a little awkward to use in a story map at times. Being able to duplicate a slide and then toggle layers on and off really helps to make that a smoother process and still show the before and after views. The ability to see an overview of the content you have added so far and be able to rearrange the content like Amanda proposed would be really helpful. If there was a way to see an even more zoomed out overview of the content, kind of like if you were to zoom out to 50 or 60% in a word doc and be able to see multiple pages at a time that might be helpful. I like being able to do this because it gives me a better idea of the overall flow of whatever I'm working on. Adding different options for how a sidecar moves over content would be nice too. I especially liked the ability to align text and titles in the original as well. I'm sure you guys have your hand's full with all of this right now, but the new addition looks great, you guys should be really proud, and I'm excited to see where you take it.

I have a very big and rather complicated project that I'm trying to streamline the data entry for. Throughout the field season, we constantly have data coming in and I would like that to be done through ArcGIS online. I know how to create the feature layer and have this done through ArcCollector the problem is that this data often has to be worked up in excel and certain portions of it have to be sent to different entities. I'm wondering if there is a way to have a direct link between my ArcGIS Online data and an excel workbook so that I don't have to have people export the data to excel every time they need an updated version of it, which would be often? Is there a way to do this or is there an easier workaround available?

I've created a survey in Survery123 Connect, but I'm not being allowed to publish it. At first I was getting errors when trying to validate my data. It didn't like that I had fields other than a "Date" field that were required. When I removed them and tried to verify again it now tells me that "Data values are valid Instance name: record_date:8/19/2019 12:00 AM". Even though it seems to tell me things are valid, nothing happens when I hit the publish button.

Is it possible for me to link an excel workbook to an arcgis online feature? For example I've created a feature layer that I'm going to use in Arc Collector to collect data in the field. I want that to then link straight to an excel file. Is this possible or would I just have to export the data again every time I need it?

Thanks for the reply Doug. So you just put a constraint on the following questions that will remind them that they've already picked that answer previously?

I'm making a survey that will have three separate, "select multiple" questions. Question one asks the submitter to select which answers are a high priority, question two asks them to select answers that are a medium priority, and question three is low priority. All three questions will have the same answers available and I'm wondering if, for example, someone selects one of the answers as a high priority that that potential answer can then be removed from the other two questions and so on? The list of answers is fairly long making it hard to go back and forth to see what you've already prioritized in previous questions so I was hoping to make that a little easier by having answers you've already used disappear.
