So what is the end game for you? What are you trying to accomplish or discover with your data? Can this be done with a spatial selection? For example, my guess is PLSS_ Township are just the Townships in your area of interest while the sections are of each township. Something like what I show below: JoeBorgione_0-1610556945763.png

It seems that the original plat pdf has a splash of color in it so I made the settings as shown below. The Colorspace = Monochrome seems to be what gets it done. My guess the other plat pdf's that have gone through okay must be black and white only so it's an easier conversion. JoeBorgione_0-1610488292092.png

That's the thing; I've never fiddled with the settings. Perhaps it is how the pdf is created? (Trying various settings now)....

I receive plat maps in pdf format that I then export to tif format. After that I georeference the tif to my parcels. However, sometimes when I add the tif to a Pro session, it will come in as a black an white image: JoeBorgione_0-1610477053793.png And other times it comes in as an RGB image: JoeBorgione_1-1610477106459.png And when it does, I can't see it in Pro to georeference it. I suspect it is in the way it is exported in Adobe, but these two that I show in examples I did today, exactly the same way. Two questions then: How do I convince Adobe to export the tif as black and white and/or How do I convince ArcGIS Pro to 'see' the rgb tif image? ArcGIS Pro 2.6

Agreed; a specific example would help. Are you trying to get a single query where: Layer1 Township = 1 and/or Layer2 Township =1 and/or Layer 3 Township = 1 or something along those lines ? You'd need to do that in three different selections.

You can apply your calculation to a selected set of records; what if you first select your parcels where ParcelType does not contain the text Lakes or ParcelType does not contain the text ROW etc...

I think you were right Dan- I deleted the feature class and ran it again. Of course there was no issue when I ran the tool. Now it seems to have corrected itself as both tools don't get mad. When you right click on a table in the TOC and select Geocode Table, you get the tool on the right; the tool on the left is from the pick list of geocoding tools. Initially I was using the tool on the right. JoeBorgione_0-1610131544790.png

I've stopped and restarted Pro after removing the original from the project. Having it Checked is the default. Just another brick in the wall.... JoeBorgione_1-1610129416533.gif

ArcGIS Pro 2.6 In Projects/Options/Geoprocessing I have Allow geoprocessing tools to overwrite existing datasets checked: JoeBorgione_0-1610128260278.png However when I try to geocode a table of addresses and use the same output feature class name the tool turns red with anger and scolds me like a school child: JoeBorgione_1-1610128390288.png Sort of reminds me of Pink Floyd The Wall: Wrong, Do it again! If you don't eat yer meat, you can't have any pudding How can you have any pudding if you don't eat yer meat? You! Yes, you behind the bikesheds, stand still laddy! Is this expected behavior or should I eat my meat and just change the output name?

I knew I was over complicating things. That always seems to be a thing for me. I thought I had a corner on that market... That's the beauty of this forum; enough of us have forehead bruises from banging our heads against a screen and like to keep others from doing the same!

@KoryKramer I realize that development teams have backlogs but the frustration comes from seeing new releases roll out with improvements that seemingly target very narrow user bases, while something so basic that would improve the entire user base experience gets put on a back burner. Just my $00.02......
