Maybe I should simplify the question. Can a geocoder geocode lat/lon or XY's? Because the geocoders I create seem to not be able to perform that function.

Yes, but unfortunately, this will become an automated process that will run daily, so there will be no interaction for manual matching. We already map the data internally by lat/lon and locations that do not have a lat/lon from creation get moved to a fixed location depending on the district they are assigned. I'm looking publish the data publicly, which is why I am altering the addresses and hoping to use lat/lon where no address exists.

Hello, I am trying to set up a process to map locations to a street centerline by either an address or or by lat/lon if no address exists or if the address cannot be found. I have created a geocoder that only uses the Street Address Role and have a process set up to change addresses from 1234 N Main to 1200 N Main in an effort to anonymize them. All locations have a lat/lon even if no address exists. The geocoder is configured properly and geocodes the events to the street centerline with the address. The issue I am having is that the geocoder will not locate events by lat/lon where no addresses match can be found. Even if I only specify the geocoder to use the Coordinate System Category in the Geocode Table dialogue box, it will return zero matches. Just wondering if anyone has any input on how I can geocode based on lat/lon. Everything I've tried seems to not work. Thanks!

@AlixVezina - I installed WAB locally on my machine, brought in the web map into a new empty app and reconfigured the filter widget. It is still displaying incorrect results unfortunately.

@AlixVezina - thank you for the response. I just uploaded the layer to AGOL and got the correct results. Enterprise is giving incorrect information.

I publish one layer and use the layer in several applications, dashboards/webapps. I have an issue where I am trying to filter events within a web application using the Filter widgets where the filter needs to be within a date range. Using SQL Management Studio, I am able to query a certain date range and retrieve results, 47 for discussion. Using the dashboard, if I select the date, I retrieve the same number of results, 47. If I use the filter widget in a separate application, get back 49 results, with some of the results trickling into the next day. I've tried publishing with offsets to the time, but that just messes up the actual incident time, giving bad data. It appears this issue was solved in ArcGIS Online BUG-000123859 "In Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS, the Group Filter widget filters off of UTC time and not local timezones." but I can't seem to find a workaround in WAB on Enterprise. Any information regarding this issue is greatly appreciated.

@ShanaBritt I ended up publishing to another Enterprise Portal we have (which is on 10.9) and everything is working as expected. We will have to upgrade for this functionality. Thanks!

@ShanaBritt I have stumbled upon this thread and noticed that intersection connectors simply do not work in Enterprise 10.8.1 for me when I publish a geocoder using the Street Address role. Either by specifying them or by leaving the intersection connectors setting blank. It does work fine in Pro though. Are there default connectors or does nothing work? Do we need to upgrade to portal to 10.9 to get this functionality? Thanks!

@AmirBar-Maor Yes, definitely ArcMap. I did move it into Pro at one point but I didn't feel comfortable changing the workflow I had established over those years to begin to learn another as the program was developing. Pro does offer many more benefits in fabric now, that is for sure. In the beginning, I did migrate a very large chunk of our city (lots and parcels) using the method recommended by esri, but that's where a lot of my issues (mainly about the future maintenance of the fabric) came from. I think for many, migrating is the only option, and that's fine, it offers many benefits as you outlined. I truly feel peak fabric benefit comes from mapping past to present and having that record information. It is the only way the maps or deeds can fit together as intended, especially when maps or deeds reference those records.

That is correct. Unfortunately, this item is the first layer in the contents pane. It did not change order that's why I'm so bewildered. I never had an issue with this in ArcMap, only ArcGIS Pro. Anyway, I really appreciate your help here. Moving forward, I will see if assigning ID's mitigates this issue. Thank you

Perfect, thank you! This does help me understand a lot more moving forward. But, I specifically left that unchecked so every layer I share would be a service, thus forcing an ID of 0? It should have kept all ID's at 0 because each layer would have been its own unique service. But in my case, I started with 0 then it changed to 10 (I assume when it barked at me about unique ID's.) I even deleted the service and it still came back as 10.

I'm looking for some feedback or best practice is on how I can take some data with exact locations of events and obfuscate the locations for public consumption in a web map. I'm only aware of using the Near tool where it can find the X Y of the closest street segments, then display the X Y event data. Effectively moving all incidents to the closest street. Any other ways to hide locations?
