Hi Robert, All I know is the placement of a dojo button at the bottom of a splash page I made. Something like: }).placeAt(splashPage1.containerNode);. I was wondering how to do this in the map itself. I am not sure exactly sure what absolute positioning is. I would guess the placement of the button on the map. Brandon

I would like to add a basemap layer to a custom web app made with arcgis api javascript framework syntax. I am using ArcGIS API 3.22 to call an arcgis online web map that has no basemap. I would like to set it using arcgis api for js. Can you add a baselayer with a map that has already been created? I cannot use something like: var map = new esri.Map("mapDiv", {
center: [-56.049, 38.485],
zoom: 3,
basemap: "streets"
}); because the map has been created. Thanks Nathan. I will attempt this further on Monday. So far I have added a basemap toggle to my map using the example in the api reference but it is on all tabs, even the one that has no map. Maybe the append method will fix this. Also, even though the toggle works, it has issues. I am using a custom vector basemap that blocks the toggle. When I remove the custom basemap in my web maps, my story web maps load with no basemap, and then when the toggle is clicked, a basemap appears. Maybe I could remove the custom basemap when the toggle is clicked. Ideally, I would rather use my custom basemap in the toggle.

Hello, How do I change the "zoom to" in a pop up? I am asking because I change the color of the bottom part of the popup where the zoom to is to blue and now it is hard to see.
