Its because you have selected all the connected for disconnecting, which includes your connection to the sde geodatabase too. I had the same problem. You can right click on the layer in table of contents->Edit Features->Start Editing. That will start an edit session on that layer's workspace. Thank you Paul for the contribution. Even in case we apply the start editing from the right click, we still don�??t know where we are! Jamal, By right-clicking an individual replica, you bring up a context menu with the following options: Rename�??Renames the replica; type a new name and press ENTER. Unregister�??Unregisters the replica; if a synchronization version exists, it will also be removed. View log�??Opens the Replica Log; this option is only available for one-way and two-way replicas. The Replica Log is discussed in more detail below. Refresh�??Refreshes the replica; the latest state of the replica properties are displayed. Validate schema�??Validates the replica schema; a progress bar monitors the status of the validation. This automatically corrects a replica that contains invalid datasets. Jamal, As the ESRI WEBHELP clearly describes: " Checking this option causes edits that have been saved to the DEFAULT version, whether edited directly or merged from other versions, to be saved in the base (business) tables. Edits to other versions remain in the delta tables when you save. This option is available for simple features only�??those that do not participate in a topology, network dataset, or geometric network. Therefore, if you open the Register As Versioned dialog box and find the move edits to base tables check box is unavailable, it means your dataset contains a topology, network dataset, or geometric network.
