The order of layers now matches the order they are placed in the Map Viewer. This change was included as part of the most recent update to ArcGIS Online (March 2022).

Interactive Legend now supports the ability to collapse the legend when the app loads. The setting is located under Interactive Legend section in the config panel. This update was included in the most recent (March 2022) update to ArcGIS Online.

Hi William, measurement tools are available in a few instant apps right now. Media Map template might be one which could work for since you were looking for it in Minimalist. The others are 3D Viewer, Exhibit, and Imagery Viewer. Nearby and Sidebar (similar layout to Minimalist) will have measurement tools added in the Spring 2022 update of ArcGIS Online.

@ChandraDempsey1 Unfortunately this is a bug with the Zone Lookup template, this issue will be resolved in the Spring 2022 Update of ArcGIS Online. It will then match the layer order in the map.

@JenniferMcFarland- a workaround to make the "Welcome" disappear is to add an empty space in the Title for Introduction text box. Hopefully that will help for now. An issue has been submitted and we will look at updating this in the next update of ArcGIS Online.

In the latest update of ArcGIS Online a change was made to Nearby Instant App which impacted the welcome panel. Over the next few days an update should be coming to improve this.

Hi Julie, The Media Instant App has both the swipe and legend tools. Swipe can be used while the legend is expanded. There is an option to configure the legend to open at the launch of the app as well. Hope this helps!

Would you be willing to try a different template for the app? The Instant Apps (next generation configurable apps) are responsive and have a much better experience on mobile devices and embedded. The Media or Basic Instant App have the same tools available that you have enabled on the app you've shared. These can be accessed from map or My Content, Create App > Instant Apps
