We would like to see an enhancement that automatically updates M value without the need of right click set distance - X and Y values auto update. It would be nice to see M value update when you add vertices or extend route lines. Also, it would be really nice to update next segment to start the M value by using last segment end point M value and auto update if I modify previous segment. We are working on developing tool right now but I feel that this should be a functionality out of the box to allow referencing segments and chose option if I want to have M value entered manually or use previous segment end point as a start of the next line segment.

I will contact technical support. Just wanted some visibility here as well. We would like to be able to save template by layer like we can save layer file and re-import it for each layer individually. JMutunga, tx for sharing copy templates by map I will play with that option to see if it will give me desired results. It would be nice to have the same ability by individual layers.

Sure it is possible, for 6 years now I have been hearing it is available in Enterprise. If it is not possible it would not be available in portal. I would like to hear from Esri why is this being held away from us AGO users?

We could get on a screen share if you wish. I was able to reproduce the issue the other day. The way that create templates are being handled could be better. I would be nice to save templates and reimport them as needed. While paste properties would be a nice option to copy templates from another feature as needed. I know this can be a bit buggy depending on way data is set up but yeah. Sorry due to sensitivity of the data I am unable to share the dataset I was working with.

We would like to see weights added to symbology like it is added to labels. To allow symbols to be moved around so they do not overlap other symbols as well as ability to decide which symbols are static and which ones move. This would help maps look so much cleaner. I really like this ability for labels.

It appears to be a fundamental data function in Excel, allowing for automatic calculations from one cell to another within the same dataset or a different one. This feature is highly useful, as it enables real-time updates and the ability to apply the same formula across a range of cells when needed by simple copy/paste.

Create Templates are not copied when you paste properties to a layer in a different map. Also If you have any templates in the layer they get wiped out when you paste properties. It would be nice if you had an option to copy templates from one map to another. It gets kind of old to keep creating create templates in maps.

Yes this has been problem for over 4 years now. We have problems with layers with subtypes. I can never add additional categories to subtypes and have them show in the edit templates. I hope Esri can fix this on the next big update push. This has been really hard to deal with over the last 4 years.

This is a big problem. We keep facing this when we publish data with subtypes. It is impossible to add new categories without downloading data and republishing. This has been an issue since release of new Map. I am really hopeful that Esri will take this problem seriously and fix it asap as it can be rather tiring to have to republish data over and over again every time we have to add a symbol to online features.
