Looks like the auto does not want to work but I put a fixed size of 7em and the !important made it override the dgrid.css.. Still not sure why auto size would not work as its listed for css as an option.

This is what my style.css looks like. All I added was the .dgrid at the bottom.. Hoping it would override the previous css request but it seems to get overridden when I look at the developer tool. Here is a snap shot. @import url("../common.css"); .jimu-widget-geoprocessing .jimu-widget-geoprocessing .jimu-viewstack .jimu-widget-geoprocessing .section .jimu-widget-geoprocessing .opts [class*="col"] .jimu-widget-geoprocessing .opts a.help{ line-height: 45px; } .jimu-widget-geoprocessing .section.opts{ margin-top: 20px; } .jimu-widget-geoprocessing .section .jimu-btn .jimu-widget-geoprocessing .info .jimu-widget-geoprocessing .info .text{ text-align: center; width: 100%; bottom: 0; position: absolute; } .jimu-widget-geoprocessing .input-node, .jimu-widget-geoprocessing .output-node .jimu-widget-geoprocessing .input-node>.input-label, .jimu-widget-geoprocessing .output-node>.output-label .jimu-widget-geoprocessing .input-node>.editor-container, .jimu-widget-geoprocessing .output-node>.renderer-container{ margin-top: 5px; width: 100%; } .TabTheme .jimu-widget-geoprocessing .jimu-tab>.control>.tab.jimu-state-selected{ border-top: 0; } .jimu-widget-geoprocessing li{ list-style: none; } .jimu-widget-geoprocessing .error-message{ text-align: left; width: 100%; margin-top: 10px; color: #FF0000; } .dgrid

So I would like to just add the rules to the existing style.css. Where do I place the rule selector so that it overrides the dgrid.css? I would think the style.css for the widget I’m working on would get called somewhere but I’m struggling to understand where..

So I created my css. in the custom widget/css folder. 1. do I need it in the stemapp section as well as the project section? 2. how do I call the new css so that it overrides a previous css?

So when I create that new view with just the fields I want should the returned view only have those fields? When I open the view and look at the properties it has all of the fields but the 2 fields I want are the only ones selected. Then when I build the GP service it still puts all of the fields in the table..

Sorry I responded to fast.. I was reading about it and it appears that this is the rule.. So I guess I will try that.. Thanks for the direction!! if this tool is the last tool in a model, the field names will be obtained from the source data on disk. To maintain new field names, the new layer has to be written out to a new data using Copy Rows<ms-its:c:\program%20files%20(x86)\arcgis\desktop10.2\help\data_management_toolbox.chm::/0017000000n4000000.htm> or Copy Features<ms-its:c:\program%20files%20(x86)\arcgis\desktop10.2\help\data_management_toolbox.chm::/001700000035000000.htm> tools.

ok, I get the css portion. As far as the DataGrid would I enter that code into the widget.js file or where would it go? If it does go in the widget.js file does it need to be in the stemapp widget folder as well?

I'm new to this so here goes.. I have created a model in ArcMap that generates a GP service. I'm locating features along a route. So there are 3 tables that are created for one position. I have made each table a Parameter in the model. the problem is when I generate the GP service I don't want all of the fields to show. can I edit the Parameters of a GP service or how do I show only the fields I want?
