Hi Robert, You can Enable / Disable editing from the editing options: To get this: Learn more here: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/editing/enable-and-disable-editing.htm Do you really need it? when you edit a word document you do not have to declare that you start editing. If you edit in a version you can easily delete it. Most layers require you to actively save or discard your edits. Amir

@JamesTchorzynski1 This is a Geoprocessing bug. You should never see a '999999' error. It has nothing to do with parcel fabrics. It would be for the best if you log it with technical support. @KoryKramer I think this "idea" should be moved to the geoprocessing idea exchange.

There are many cases where you need to pan the map during editing while the select tool is active or any other editing tool. The easiest way for me is to press down the scroll wheel and pan the map. Other options are: To pan press down the 'C' key To Zoom out press the 'X' key To Zoom interactively press the 'Z' key and use the scroll wheel To Rotate pres the 'V' key Does this help?

@JamalNUMAN Just making sure you are aware that pressing down the CTRL key and clicking on any vertex of the moved feature would move the yellow anchor point which is snappable.

We have no intention at this time to modify the structure of the ArcMap Traverse TXT file. In ArcMap saving to a TXT file was the only way to "save edits" halfway through a traverse because it used a sketch. It was also the only way to modify a traverse down the road if an error was detected. In Pro, every line is saved as a feature, so you do not have to save TXT files to save your edits. You can also modify a traverse by tracing it and can isolate to a specific record using the 'Show Only Active Record' button. As for the idea, a traverse is imported to the line layer that is set in the traverse pane. If you want to have additional attributes maintained, It would be better to export features to a file geodatabase and then append them: any matching fields and values will be appended.

Until it gets implemented, the workaround is to duplicate the layer. Since the layer persist between sessions, creating one layer for each template will is an easy workaround.

This has been implemented in ArcGIS Pro. It will not be implemented in ArcMap Parcel Editor.

@MikeZummo It turns out this issue is not specific to parcel fabrics and is caused by layers that have definition queries. Until this is fixed the workarounds are simple: Option 1: remove the definition query from the source layer (you can copy-paste the layer first) Option 2: modify the definition query by using AND <SQL Expression> on your source layer. This should be fixed in Pro 2.8. Amir
