The ability to Copy and paste a traverse course is already implemented by: 1. Every 'course' in the traverse is a feature. This means you can use the standard Copy and Paste of features to copy-paste one or more features that were created using the a traverse. 2. You can modify an existing traverse, regardless if you yourself created a day ago or someone else a few year ago, by simply tracing it. This is documented here: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/2.7/help/editing/create-a-traverse.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_08880D70C629456C8085E727047700B1 This capability eliminates the need to save ArcMap Traverse text files (which are also supported).

@Paul_Christensen I was able to reproduce your observations by: Creating an offending feature, evaluating the rules, and then 1. Selecting an error 2. Selecting the features It looks like the Error Inspector identifies that there are 2 layers that point to that feature class. You can see in the Attribute Pane a warning icon that tells you the feature is not visible. The same happens with Error Inspector and geodatabase topology (this is not specific to Attribute Rules). @MARIUSGLOVACI If the topology doesn't work in your geodatabase we have to get to the bottom of it, potentially with assistance from technical support. Technical support will most likely make sure your parcel fabric topology is enabled, your topology was published properly, and that your map is not the culprit. I have trouble understanding if this is an idea for new functionality that others can vote to promote or a question. Please clarify Thanks, Amir

Hello Marius, Could you please provide more information? 'Map Topology;, which is exposed on the editing ribbon tab, only respects visible features. The parcel fabric uses a 'geodatabase topology' which keeps features aligned regardless if they are visible in the map or not. The geodatabase topology is controlled by the parcel fabric and is fully configurable.

@adamh We plan to include the capability of merging lines in ArcGIS Pro 2.9. If you have an Active Record and the merged lines are collinear it will: Mark the parent lines as historic. Mark any point between the merged lines as historic. Combine the COGO values and preserve the direction if they are collinear. Show a preview of the COGO values before you press Merge. Here is a sneak peek:

Thanks for sharing the image. We plan to have the point numbering capability as part of a future release as part of the core product. In the meantime, we can work together to produce the legal deed/ title you need to produce. This will is likely to include: geoprocessing tool Copy Parcels to extract the parcel in question, calculation of the point XY coordinates, extracting the polygon vertices and identifying the NW corner, then use the vertices to select points and calculate a point number. Send me an email: [email protected] if you would like to pursue this.

@Mustafa_HalukAy Could you please share why you want to number the parcel corners? Are those permanent numbers or temporary numbers that are used for producing a layout like the example below? Does the order of the numbering matter or could it be random? If this is for layout, do you plan to have multiple parcels or one parcel at a time? If you have an example of what you are trying to achieve it would be great if you can share it and any information (your organization, is this part of a legislated standard, etc.)

We are planning to introduce this capability in future releases for both the polygon and line. Adding fields to a feature class in ArcGIS Pro is very easy and efficient using the Design Fields view.

@DeanAnderson2 According to the help documentation, you are doing the correct thing. @NathanShephard - is this a bug? Or does 'Imperial' becomes the default distance "unit" when selecting any imperial distance unit?

@anna_garrett Statement: Entering a subdivision in ArcGIS Pro is faster than ArcMap Parcel Fabric. Why? You are always in 'construction' mode and can toggle on/off 'Show only active record'. You are free to use any editing tool (that is likely to be intimidating in the beginning) but yield many efficiencies. There are no 'Line-Points' to worry about. Parcel Alignment (AKA 'Joining' in ArcMap) is faster. As you have stated - fixing COGO errors is easier and faster in the Attribute Pane. Better functionality to detect and fix errors Many steps eliminated: start & stop editing, join & unjoin, 'construction', radial lines... Performance and scalability ... I concur with @jcarlson that you don't need to introduce 'scratch layers' or enter the data in ArcMap and then bring it over to ArcGIS Pro. Documentation? We keep improving it from release to release. Since ArcGIS Pro help documentation is getting translated to almost 20 languages it makes no sense to document workflows for PLSS or LGIM. Canadians use CPDM, many others use LADM. You can use LGIM as a guideline and the workflows are similar. We will publish more videos and blogs on the Parcel Fabric Community to make the transition easier. Would you like us to get in touch with you directly? We would like to make sure you and your organization are successful!

Hi @PaulRogalla1 You are asking for new functionality for ArcMap. 10.8.1 was the last ArcMap release and there are no plans to introduce new functionality in ArcMap. In ArcGIS Pro you can achieve that using Attribute Rules Calculation. You can use the CAD LAYER attribute value (name) to calculate another field. In the new parcel fabric in ArcGIS Pro we have deprecated the 'Category' field and separated out the connection lines. Each organization can extend their parcel lines for each parcel type as well as the connection lines as they see fit to meet their business requirements.

@anna_garrett You are always welcome to open a technical support case so we can have a look in your data. The version of ArcGIS Pro you are using might also influence the results. And we should have better tools to identify gaps and overlaps in the next release!

Hi Marius, Once you select the points one of them will be selected by default. I think we try to make a smart choice which point that is, but that is not always possible. Could you please describe your concern with the current behavior?
