To add to the above: Across all of AGOL's products each of the default color palettes are so different much less some have the option to add colors in the interface while others require HTML experience. This is cumbersome for content creators as they may string together multiple products and find inconsistency in their color options. An even simpler example is the difference in interfaces from symbology's color palette to the popup's color palette all in one web map. We need consistent colors/ interfaces.

Lang Elliott, I completely agree that's a usability pain-point we also face. Unfortunately I have not been able to find a way to control the sounds when switching locations, but fingers crossed that Esri Story Maps might see this and maybe create a solution (?) Glad to hear you were able to add sound to your example! It definitely takes story mapping to a whole new level of sensory engagement! Best, Amanda

Hi Lang Elliott, Yes this is possible, we actually just launched two shortlist story maps with this functionality! Here are links to our final products: https://arcg.is/nWW9and https://arcg.is/1X8Hbu To do this you have to write a little HTML but it's an easy update process (csv drag-drop to web map to update). Just download the Shortlist spreadsheet template. More info in Rupert's response here: https://community.esri.com/ideas/15730-shortlist-story-map-customize-labelling-descriptions Here's the HTML you'll need: Happy Mapping! - Amanda

I like your idea of customizing the error message! This also could be a great way to point users in the right direction for support as well. Your post gets my thumbs up

It appears that the ability to disabe editor tracking is only supported in AGOL Hosted Feature Layers and not Enterprise Feature Layers. It would be awesome to also have this functionality for Enterprise Feature layers as well. (Enhancement request #ENH-000118710 , case #02230037 ). Please see justification below: The user uses a federated ArcGIS Server as their hosting server. The user has set up a distributed collaboration between their Portal for ArcGIS and ArcGIS Online, and then shared their server services to ArcGIS Online as collaborated contents. Within the latest ArcGIS Online, users should be able to select whether to "show when last edited" for their feature services on the pop up configuration according to this article: https://www.esri.com/arcgis-blog/products/arcgis-online/announcements/new-arcgis-online-functionality-supported-by-customer-ideas-december-2018. However, this option is not available on the pop up configuration of the user's collaborated contents (server services) even though the user had enabled editor tracking when they published the feature layer. It turns out this functionality is only available for hosted feature layers, because "show when last edited" option is considered one of the editing settings, and users cannot enable or modify editing settings for server services from ArcGIS Online.

Brandon Armstrong, I did a little more troubleshooting today with the survey and it appears that my setting for a "Multiline" appearance on a Note type field is what's throwing the error message. Is this not a supported combination?

Hi Brandon Armstrong, Absolutely! Please see the attached XLS form. It's a fairly simple form too. Thanks, Amanda (Not allowing me to add the attachment here so I just added it to AGOL for now) https://trpd.maps.arcgis.com/sharing/rest/content/items/97994f425265403586bd942ddcb66a89/data

Hi Graham Hudgins and Daniel Fenton, Thanks so much for the prompt response, that's great to hear! To address your question Daniel, currently our plan is to only clone our Hub site when any changes are made by our staff. That being said the additional ability to control changes from the Esri team would be great as well. With both of our Hub sites being so high profile for our organization, it would be great to have the ability to reduce the risk of any upgrades breaking it, and have the safeguard of prior versions in place to revert to if needed. Feel free to reach out to me if you have any further questions. Thanks, Amanda

Hi Esri, We were wondering if there is any limit to the number of ArcGIS Online Hub Sites an organization can have? We plan to clone our Hub sites for upgrades when new internal features are released and we would like to keep these versions in case we ever need to revert an upgrade. We're aware that these sites (and their pages) are stored as AGOL content and that in theory there should be no limit, but we just want ask to ensure we won't hit any unforeseeable limit that may be built in. Any information would be great. Thanks so much!

ArcGIS Hub I completely agree with the above! AGOL Categories would be extremely powerful if they were supported in ArcGIS Hub. Categories are a great way to standardize and pre-define subject matter and not have to worry about tags that could potentially be inconsistent (spelling errors, naming conventions, etc). These would be extremely powerful if they were supported in URL parameters as well for the Open Data portion of Hub. Currently we're using URL parameters in Hub Cards. In order to safeguard for any potential future tag typos we have to build in wildcard url parameters such as: http:/<domainhere>/search?catalog=restricted&tags=%27Baker%27 This works but is much more cumbersome than Categories. Thanks!
