Hi, I Updated the ArcGIS Runtime Beta 2 authorization with a new code from ArcGIS Beta Community mail but LocalGeoprocessingService and the other localservice does not work in the software. Hi, Unfortunately in the first release there will not be an API for the adhoc adding of Feature Classes from a Geodatabase to the map in order to edit those Feature Classes. If no editing is required then the Dynamic Layers capability can be used to achieve this via LocalMapServices. After the first release one of the highest priorities is to work on the type of adhoc editing functionality you are asking for in addition to a richer editing synchronization framework. Cheers Mike

Hi, This is not in the current GeometryService / LocalGeometryService spec. To achieve this you could create a Geoprocessing model/script based on the Buffer tool in the Analysis toolbox > Proximity toolset: http://resourcesbeta.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.1/index.html#/Buffer/000800000019000000/. This could be shared as a service on ArcGIS for Server or as a package (GPK) and used offline via a LocalGeoprocessingService. Cheers Mike

Hi, Sorry for the delay in getting back to you on this. Thanks for the excellent reproducer. I have tested with the latest ArcGIS Runtime local server and the latest WPF client assemblies and (without modification) your app produces the output below and [I think] a valid spline result (see attached screenshot of the result back in ArcMap). I believe this indicates you should be able to retest successfully in pre-release. You may just need to play around with the script to get the right output parameter (GPRasterData / GPDataFile) - or better would be a map server result which would then allow you to add the raster directly to the map as a dynamic map service layer. Alternatively, the dynamic layers functionality you were testing previously could be used to dynamically add rasters to an existing map service at runtime. Submitted. Executing... Hi, We've improved the package unpacking behaviour since Beta 2 so you should no longer see this in Pre-release - but please retest and let us know. You should only see this if the source MPK/GPK has changed and the package needs to be unpacked again (the package is inspected to check the packaging timestamp). Cheers Mike

Hi, Yes, you can install ArcGIS Prerelease alongside the ArcGIS Runtime SDK Beta 2. If it looks like the ArcGIS Runtime SDK Prerelease is going be later than 2nd April we'll make additional licenses available to cover the gap. Hi, Unfortunately I have not been able to successfully test your Spline script example but I can confirm that the Spline tool (Spatial Analyst > Interpolation) is a supported tool and has been successfully tested. Cheers Mike

Hi, You might also be interested in the ArcGIS Runtime SDK for WPF. It's an evolution of the existing WPF API you're familiar with, which will allow you to use local data, maps, locators and geoprocessing tools. Inidividual Shapefiles can be added via a capability called "dynamic layers" which is also available in ArcGIS for Server at 10.1. The ArcGIS Runtime SDK for WPF has been in beta for some time now and a pre-release will be available shortly.
