Thankyou for this excellent widget. I have a question. Does the widget allow adding Feature Layers ? I was selecting Dynamic Services checkbox and trying to add Feature layers but it was not displaying them, although it said that 'Layer added Successfully' and the layer name was in the layers list but it wasnot getting displayed. All the feature layers I have tested are public.

The widget is amazing. The only issue I am having is that the slider does not work properly when I select Bing Street and Bing Imagery and try to create their hybrid mashed basemap. Has any one experienced that ? For the ESRI maps, the widget hybrid function works great, but not for bing maps. I am attaching a screenshot of the issue here: It can be seen that the slider is just fading away bing road map and not displaying aerial map.

If you have a valid bing maps key then I would suggest you go through this blog post by esri in order to learn how to add bing maps to your ARcGIS online account. Once you have added them there, they should automatically appear on your Web App builder basemaps widget after you close and reopen your app.

In Tab Theme, how can I reduce the height of the Footer Widget? I am trying to change style.css file in <app_name>\themes\TabTheme\widgets\Footer\css\style.css like this .jimu-widget-footer{ height: 50%; /*changed from 100 to 50*/ } but this doesnot do anything after I refresh the page.

Forexample, the measurement widget. The existing style 'measurementDiv' taken from esri.css looks like this. Lets say I dont like the icons and I want to change its css. Then how can I go about doing that ? I know these widgets take their style and icons from esri.css, but this file is not located in webapp builder dev edition folder. It is referenced from an Esri server in init.js. So what is the correct procedure to overwrite this file? Thanks Humza

If I go through the whole API reference of WAB, do I still need to be a master at ArcGIS API for JS in order to develop custom Widgets ?

I think that there should be some way of transforming LocalLayer widget to an in-panel widget and displaying its settings UI as its widget UI. I will look at it in detail. May be it can be done.

No, I am looking to make an application which after its being launched allows the user of that application to add/remove tiled or feature layers on the fly.

I have tried LocalLayer widget and it works awesome, but am I right in understanding that LocalLayer widget doesnot allow the user to add layers after the app has been launched?

exactly the same issue as Matt, Chrome version : 41.0.2272.89 m No issues in Firefox. So I have switched to Firefox. However I would like to know the reason behind it. Firefox version: 36.0.1
