The Pixel Editor Tools have been added to Pro 2.4. It has much more robust tools than the Raster Clean Up tools had. If there is a particular task\tool missing from the Pro Pixel Editor toolbar, please let us know. Thanks! Simon W

Thanks Dan! Robert, what Dan described was the app setting, so that no raster layers are ever stretched with a contrast stretch by default - on that particular machine. If that is what you wanted, then Dan nailed it. If you were only looking to have no contrast stretch on specific raster datasets, you can edit the Dataset Properties (In the Catalog Pane, right-click the dataset in question, and choose Properties). Scroll down to Source Type, and choose Processed. This will now make it so anyone who uses this dataset (regardless of the machine) will see no contrast stretch.

Unfortunately there isn't a similar option yet. I will add an Enhancement Request for this. Thank you! Simon

When Auto-Apply is turned on (which is the default), the image is placed in the "expected" location. The point you choose is the actual point (observed).

One point is not enough for any RMSE. You may notice that RMSE is 0, until the 4th control point is created. It uses these 4 points to figure out what is the expected locations. And each control point after that is added to the calculation of RMSE. As mentioned, if you believe that the calculation is not correct, please log an incident and we can take a look. Thanks! Simon W

It is the control points you add that will affect RMSE. If you believe that the RMSE is incorrect for your georeferencing, please log an issue or send us your particular case. Thanks.

I do not have any illustrations, but the last third paragraph of this section should explain it. https://dev.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/help/data/imagery/overview-of-georeferencing.htm#ESRI_SECTION1_61F70AE3AC6C47559B3C… It is not a mathematical concept we have created, so perhaps there are illustrations on some other math related sources on the web.

As Jamal has already alluded to, the RMS errors are reported in the Heads up display. There are 3 types of RMS that we report in both types of software. The Forward transformation is always the default RMS. But if you show all three types of errors in both software programs, you can see they are both available in both sortware. As you can see the top Image from Pro is the same as the bottom image from ArcMap (slight difference in rounding). Please let me know if there is still any confusion. There is no real bug; simply an enhancement that some users were requesting it in BOTH the heads-up display and the table.

The Explore tool, on the map tab, works like the identify tool, when you click on the map. This will pop up a window that shows the pixel value and the location you clicked. The Raster Item Explorer is only for mosaic datasets. If you have a mosaic dataset, the icon will appear on the Image Server layer tab. Let us know if these answer your questions. Simon W

Kassandra, After you Save the raster and Close the session, your image should be georeferenced. After you Close the session, is the image in the correct location? Or did all your hard work already go away? (Out of curiosity, where did your raster originate from?) Are you using a raster dataset or a raster product? We save raster datasets. We do not update the raster product at its source, since we do not want to edit\corrupt your satellite data that the provider has specific specifications for. For raster products, you can only save the layer within the project. If it is still your standard raster dataset (e.g. tiff file) that is not updating properly, please call and log an issue with Technical Support. Thanks! Simon W.

Hello Samantha, You can log or create an incident however you would like (there are a few options on the Support website link that I posted). You can definitely call, to create a support incident. I understand that changes in workflow are annoying at first. The drop-down to specify the layer was not allowed in the Pro implementation, so we had to use the contextual implementation. Furthermore, we had to have a concept of start and stop, otherwise a new raster would be georeferenced every time the Contents pane was edited\touched. Once we fix any issues you have, hopefully the new workflow makes sense and can accomplish your project goals. Thanks! Simon W

In regards to the bugs that are seen, please contact Technical Support with the details so that they can get addressed: https://support.esri.com/en/contact-tech-support. In regards to the image that you are georeferencing, it is displayed in the heads-up-display (top right corner). ArcGIS Pro is context driven. No Need to remove the previous layer. After you close the georeferencing session, highlight\select the next raster you want to georeference and then Click the Georeferencing button again. The heads-up-display will update with the raster that you have highlighted when you started the session. As for the blue lines, we have had reports of this on GeoNet and forums, but have have failed to replicate this. Please log a support incident so we have the exact steps and data so we can try and address this and all issues. Thanks! Simon W.
