Hi, This won't work: <img src="C:\Users\Aji\Desktop\PROJECT MATERIALS\aby\Autoweb\Photos\Carlot 2.jpg" width="250" height=250"/> That's because you're attempting to reference a location directly on your disk, and the ArcGIS.com application can't reach into your machine to 'see' these files. Desktop can do it because it's installed on the same machine where these image files are. In order to make this work the way you want it to work, you're going to need to host these images on a web hosting service and provide links to them. Since you already have an account, I'd suggest hosting these images as content under your ArcGIS.com account. You could also use Flikr or similar. Here's a blog that discusses this: Adding and using photos and images in ArcGIS Online | ArcGIS Blog

No, I don't think so...does it only do this when you consume WMS?

Are you using a print service run from your local GIS Server, or are you using the ArcGIS Online print service? Also, please confirm that the fonts were installed to the GIS Server. The portal isn't doing to work to print.

OK, then it's not the Unicode issue. Try running yum install dejavu-sans-fonts. You'll need to restart ArcGIS Server after.

I think I know the issue. By default, the map surrounds in a default .mxd don't use Unicode fonts, and PDF has issues with font substitutions in some cases. To confirm, does this issue happen when you print to PNG format?

I think I understand - your web service is actually accessible via both HTTP and HTTPS, but server manager states that the endpoint is HTTPS. That's because Server Manager is accessed via HTTPS, so the endpoint is being reported back in kind. If you're able to access ArcGIS Server Manager on http://server.domain.com:6080/arcgis/manager, then I'm pretty sure that the REST endpoints will be displayed using HTTP in the Capabilities tab. In any event, from what you've written above it sounds like the HTTP endpoint for your web services is accessible, regardless of what server manager is advertising. The service itself is actually available over HTTP. If you REALLY want server manager to report the service endpoint as only http all the time, and you're willing to accept the risk that comes along with it, you can disable HTTPS completely by following the instructions here: http://server.arcgis.com/en/server/10.3/administer/windows/configuring-https-only-using-the-default-self-signed-certificate.htm Under "Step 3: Enable SSL for your site", instead of HTTPS_ONLY, you'd select HTTP_ONLY.

What outcome are you after? In the example screenshot you have above, you're making a connection over HTTPS, but for whatever reason your certificate isn't trusted. Out of the box, this is because ArcGIS Server uses a self-signed certificate for HTTPS, and by definition self-signed certs aren't trusted. By default, ArcGIS Server supports both HTTP and HTTPS connections. Note that while you're getting a 'Not Secure' message in your browser, switching to HTTP would actually be LESS secure because sensitive information is being sent over plain text. Any endpoint where sensitive information (like usernames and passwords) are passed should be accessed over HTTPS. With that said, unless the GIS Server has been configured to require HTTPS connections, you can reach the server over plain text at http://server.domain.com:6080/arcgis/rest. The BEST guidance that can be provided would be to obtain a certificate signed by a well known certificate authority, install it on your web server, and configure the web adaptor. That way you'll have a valid, trusted certificate that won't cause your browser to show messages like the one you're describing and at the same time you'll improve your security posture.

Are you using the IIS or Java web adaptor? any way you can DM me a session file? Using IE, press F12 and reproduce the issue In the upper right of the debugger, there's an icon that looks like a floppy disk (next to the play (triangle) and stop (square) icons. You'll be prompted to save a .har file if you can DM me that file, I'll have a look. If you're in a secured/sensitive environment, screenshots with redacted hostnames might work.

There's nothing I can think of that would prevent this using SL - while we prefer JS and don't support the SL APIs any more, we didn't explicitly block SL as far as I'm aware. Do you connect directly to the GIS Server, or do you use the web adaptor as your front end? https://community.esri.com/thread/189612-silverlight-application-is-not-able-to-consume-the-service-after-upgrading-the-arcgis-server-to-105

A request would be each time a client application makes a query of some sort against the web service. For instance, export map requests, SQL queries, etc , anything that requires the GIS Server to fetch data from the data source. That said, I don't think we log requests for individual tiles in a cache - the overhead would be computationally expensive and would come at a price in terms of performance.

You don't need to install ArcGIS Server per-se, but if you're going to copy data from one enterprise GDB into another, you'll first need to have run the create enterprise GDB and Authorize enterprise GDB tools on your end. Meaning that while you don't need ArcGIS Server installed per-se, you do need to license the GDB. I'd check with your Account Rep on this, but if you restore your customer's entire GDB on your side, the license should be stored in the repository tables. I'm unsure if there are any contract issues with this workflow.
