Hi Faith, Some of the raster formats define transparency better than others. I'm not sure if MrSID files offers an alpha channel, but, if it does, you can try setting it to transparency for your '0' value pixels. Typically if ArcPad sees a 4th band, it will treat that as an alpha channel. Some other formats that support alpha transparency channel are TIFF, PNG and GIF. I feel silly in suggesting this because I understand the point of MrSID is the attactiveness of the super compact compression factor. But, if you are open to it, perhaps you can give one of the other formats a try. ArcPad's TIFF format has received the most attention in terms of patches and updates, so, I would expect it to be the go to format today in terms of speed, memory utilization and rendering. Another strategy for you to try is tech support. You can consider raising an issue and/or enhancement request to treat a specific value as "null". Some software may allow you specify a specific colour, say, blackness "#000000" or whiteness #ffffff as transparent. It could be a config file say, filename.sid.json, { transparentColor: "#000000" }. Hi Dan, There isn't a lot of information to go on. Perhaps if you tell us more information, we could narrowed down the problem. Let's start with the usual: - Which platform? (Windows, Android, ...) - What's in your Survey, are there attachments? - Are you completely in ArcGIS Online, i.e. are the Feature Services there as well? Have you tried capturing a diagnostic log? 1. Menu > Settings 2. Diagnostics button on the bottom 3. Choose to send the diagnostics to the log, or run AppStudio Console on the same staff WIFI to capture the diagnostics Here's more information about using AppStudio Console 1. Go to a desktop PC which is on the same staff WIFI network 2. Download and install AppStudio for ArcGIS | ArcGIS 3. Run AppStudio for ArcGIS 4. Click Console 5. Now, go back to Survey123 and follow the steps above 6. Survey123 diagnostics should now start streaming into AppStudio Console Stephen

It's not just ArcPad. A growing number of applications using the Date Time Picker from COMCTL32.DLL 5.82.15063.0 are being affected by the Windows 10 Creators Update (previous one COMCTL32.DLL 5.82.14393.0 is okay). Microsoft will have a cumulative update for Windows 10 in June. See Dave Anderson's comments in https://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/4cf03067-46c4-4962-af8c-f4b1483e88ba/date-time-picker-garbled-after-windows-10-creators-update?forum=windowsgeneraldevelopmentissues I highly recommend you wait for the update. If, however, you're would like to have a crack at fixing yourself, you can try swapping out your COMCTL32.DLL version 5.82 with a previous version. Becareful to only touch 5.82 and not touch any version 6.0 files. On my computer, I found two locations with version 5.82 files: C:\Windows\SysWOW32\COMCTL32.dll C:\Windows\WinSxS\x86_microsoft.windows.common-controls_6595b64144ccf1df_5.82.15063.0_none_8b4e86125c6fbfec\COMCTL32.dll To revert them to pre Windows 10 Creator Update, you need Administrative privileges. Changing the one in C:\Windows\SysWOW32, it's a simple file copy. To change the one in the C:\Windows\WinSxS folder it's somewhat more involved. 1. Right click > Properties 2. Security tab 3. Click Advanced 4. Note that the Owner is currently TrustedInstaller 5. Click Change and make yourself the Owner 6. Even being Owner doesn't give you permissions to modify it 7. Back at the Security tab from before click Edit 8. Highlight a Group or User and ensure that you have been granted permissions to modify this file 9. Rename it to something innocent, e.g. 000-COMCTL32.DLL 10. Copy in the older COMCTL32.DLL into this directory See also: https://www.codeproject.com/Messages/5386845/Re-CDateTimeCtrl-in-Windows.aspx

A .p12 file contains both your iOS Distribution Certificate (.cer) and your private key. They must match. On a Mac this is achieved by importing your .cer into Keychain Access and making sure that your private key is attached to the iOS Distribution Certificate prior to exporting it as a .p12 file. On Windows, I don't know of a way to do this step, sorry. However, after you got your .p12 file, you no longer need access a Mac since you can make use of Cloud Make.

Regarding AppStudio 1.4.18, on desktop platforms, you can launch your app with the command line argument argument: ./app -style material Alternatively, use Local Make to create C++ project files so that you can use QQuickStyle in the main.cpp: QQuickStyle::setStyle("Material"); then build your app with Qt Creator. Reference: Qt5.8 > Styling Qt Quick Controls 2.

Hi Simon, ArcPad port selection only allows you to select "COMn" from a drop down list. You could possibly select something, including COM4, then manually edit ArcPadPrefs.apx and see if you can coerce ArcPad to open GPD1. That would be preferred. Using the program port could allow the GPS to operate with a number of applications, including ArcPad, and, usually, Baud Rate, Parity settings needn't be set to a correct value. If you cannot get ArcPad to use GPD1, then, with the COM4 port you do need the correct Baud and Parity settings. In the older days, we had devices, even ones from the same vendor, requiring differing Baud and Parity settings. The true test of success is if you're getting GREEN messages in GPS Debug Window occurring at least once a second. For a good result, the we need to see if ArcPad is receiving coordinate, accuracy and satellite information. The GPS Debug window is your friend. You could also see if you can capture a GPS Log and attached it here. Stephen

Hi Rodrigo, Our QR code scanner has two modes. One, as you discovered, takes a screenshot and analyses the screenshot, aka. scanMode = scanModeGrab. From what you're saying, there appears to be a memory leak within scanGrab() which we need to narrow down. Your last conclusion is it is possibly withing the BarcodeDecoder itself, but, I just wanted to be sure. The other scan mode, scanMode = scanModeCapture takes a photo and saves it to a JPEG file which we subsequently use to process the image. Can you try switching to this mode to see if the memory utilization is, either, better, same or worse? Stephen

Hi Rodrigo, From the video it appears that your device is Android? Can you elaborate what kind of device it is? Of particularly interest is which OS? There's several components used in Barcode scanning: - Image Capture to memory and/or disk - Barcode Decoder library I don't suppose you would be able to help us narrow this down? This would involve writing variations to the app that: (1) Turns on the Barcode Decoder itself, and focus on the Image Capture (2) Turn of the Image Capture, i.e. lock it to a still image, but run the Barcode Decoder library repeatedly.
