As I said, the site only supports HTTP, not HTTPS. We reverted to an backup version of our VM with 10.3 installed, and we'll start over with the 10.5 upgrade next week with ESRI tech support.

Hey, thanks. The site only supports HTTP. We don't have Portal. I think the old web adapter might still be registered. We set up a tech support call with ESRI, so we'll get it sorted out next week.

I think there may be a problem with our firewall. When I type in the URL http://localhost:6080/arcgis/manager, the browser automatically redirects to http://localhost:6443/arcgis/manager and gives a "not secure https" warning. Another problem I'm having is getting our single machine added to the arcgis server cluster. I'm seeing this error in the logs An error was encountered while synchronizing with the config store. Failed to synchronize machine 'METCONAPP.METCON.DOMAIN' with the site. Failed to store data item '/enterpriseDatabases'.

Well, we had already uninstalled and reinstalled. I just don't think we had rebooted the VM. I'm adding the machine to the cluster in the server manager now. That's taking forever. I think I can configure the web adapter in the server manager next. How do I check IIS for bindings? What Am I looking for?

Just rebooted. I'm able to get into the server manager again. It's a localhost:6443. I'm pretty sure it was at port 6080 in version 10.3 I tried registering the web adapter again with http://METCONAPP.METCON.DOMAIN:6080 and got this error : Unable to register the ArcGIS Server with the Web Adaptor. Please make sure that the server machine is running and that the account specified has administrative privileges to the site. These were in the server manager logs: Failed to unregister the Web Adaptor '27405f37-773e-4422-b31c-f0698158625e'. Configuration store error. File system 'C:\arcgisserver\config-store\web-adaptors\27405f37-773e-4422-b31c-f0698158625e.json' remove failed. Another administrative operation is currently accessing the store. Please try again later. An error was encountered while synchronizing with the config store. Failed to synchronize machine 'METCONAPP.METCON.DOMAIN' with the site. My company just upgraded from Server 10.3 to 10.5. We are trying to configure the web adapter and keep getting errors about invalid tokens after entering in our FQDN "http://METCONAPP.METCON.DOMAIN:6080 " We're using the user name and password from our previous 10.3 web adapter, which we uninstalled prior to installing 10.5. Our default web site adapter in IIS was called "arcgis" and the installer wouldn't let us name the new adapter "arcgis." We tried to delete this web adapter from the webroot folder and start over, but we still haven't made any progress. WE're not sure how to proceed. We need to get our website and ArcGIS server back online ASAP.

OK. I tried this, since my img element has an ID. I got this from the debugger: TypeError: null is not an object (evaluating 'a.on') var img = document.createElement("img");
img.src=chartPath;
img.width=240;
img.height=160;
img.addEventListener("click", function () {window.location = chartPath;});
on(document.getElementById("img"), '.iwImgClick:click', function() {
map.infoWindow.clearFeatures();
map.infoWindow.hide();
});
map.infoWindow.setContent(img);

Here's more of the script. I set content in the next line. Chartpath is an URL var img = document.createElement("img");
img.src=chartPath;
img.width=240;
img.height=160;
img.addEventListener("click", function () {map.infoWindow.clearFeatures(); window.location = chartPath;} );
map.infoWindow.setContent(img);

Robert, Map is a global variable defined at the start of the script. I tried map.infoWindow.hide(); and that didn't work either. I can't see any errors in the debugger.

I'm trying to get a popup to close once a hyperlink is clicked inside the popup. The hyperlink is working, but the popup just changes to display "no information available" after the click and doesn't close. This is part of an event listener in a PhoneGap app. img.addEventListener("click", function () {window.location = chartPath; map.infoWindow.clearFeatures();});

We are. Everything is working as it should from localhost. For some reason our firewall has decided to block incoming traffic to port 80. We CAN access the ArcGIS server from the web on port 6080.
