Less clicking to get where I want to go. Improve the AGO interface for admins Please add a favourites bar to AGO that lets admins/and others pin my 3 to 5 favourite AGO spaces to the top or side of the AGO pages (i.e. members page) Let me hide/unhide it.

This is also still an important capability that we need. We need to enable users to change ownership of content without needing to see all content. Perhaps owners could have a setting that "allows" any users to change an items ownership. Or maybe something like the ability to designate specific users (without the need for admin to control this). Our organization is large and has many Business Units. Members of each Business Unit should be able to manage content of users who belong to the business unit. Currently this workload of transferring content between users is on the shoulders of admin. As the AGO user community grows in our org - the work requiring transferring content between users increases/becomes more common.

I've built an arcade expression to style a layer on an age class. I'd also like to be able to filter on the values generated by the expression; however, the filters (via layer or attribute table) don't pick up the expression. Please add support for arcade expressions in the filters.

I'm having problems with performance when using the Vector Basemap "Community Map of Canada" in each of 5 maps that are used in a Dashboard - only one of the maps is configured to be used with the dashboard widgets and it is the only map that is visible when the dashboard opens. The dashboard appears to load all 5 maps at once and this seems to cause my computer to grind away at 100% of cpu capacity trying to render all 5 maps. Esri support has commented that if a map has more than 8 tile layers, performance issues may be encountered. The "Community Map of Canada" has 4 tile layers in it, which means that when I open my Dashboard, its trying to render 5 maps with a total of 20 tile layers all at once. Is anyone else finding client side performance issues when using Vector basemaps? Does anyone have any recommendations? Is it possible to configure the Dashboard such that only the maps visible on the screen render? Bern Szukalski Robert Jensen

Currently in the Map Viewer you can either create a new map or open a recent map (from a short list). It would be great if there was also an option here to enable searching for a map to open from my content/my groups/my org. Without an option to search for a map to open, it requires navigating back to my content page. It would be more efficient to simply allow searching directly from the map viewer.

The functionality that these groups provide are certainly useful. However, on the admin side, transferring content to new owners is also painful (i.e. need to remove the items from the group, transfer the items to new owner, then re-add the items to the group. As an admin - I can't even do that unless i'm a member of the group... and seems like sometimes I have to make myself the owner of the group... too tricky! ... thought I had asked for enhancements to this in the past... will have a look....

Hi Owen - our organization uses custom roles and does not provide the privie "share to org" to most roles. We need a publishing workflow that allows our users to publish/share at the group level. Can you let us know how long this might take to implement? please and thanks.

Thanks Brian... I tested this just now. In the Community Org, I created a custom role based on the default Viewer role, and added the privie to join external groups. I assigned this account to a user. The user followed the initiative successfully. on a side note: I edited an initiative and was able to invite the View only Community Org member to the team (they show up in the list when inviting), and get a message that the View only member was added to the team successfully - but I think that is wrong. If view only members of the Community Org (or the Parent Org for that matter) can't be a member of the Team - it would probably be good to display a message that the user doesn't have required privies to be a team member....there is no indication to the Initative author that a member listed has the required privies.

Is it possible to allow a named user from the Community Org to have a custom role with view only privies (no privies to create content). I tested this, and it doesn't appear that a view only community org member is able to follow an initiative. The idea is that its more likely that we have community members who want to follow initiatives, but are not going to be contributing content. We'd also like to be able to control whether or not Community Org members can create content. Content in the Community Org consumes credits - there is no way to throttle the amount of data storage a Community member has access to, yet the Parent Org is on the hook for purchasing additional service credits.

This happened to me when I was trying to create an initiative with a custom role that was missing a privilege that, at the time, was required to create an initiative (Hub Premium). I don't know that 'minimum' privileges required to create Initiatives is posted anywhere in the Help docs... Note that the problem privie for me has since been removed from being required.

In Hub premium - there are options to share initiatives to the initiative team, the org, or to the public (subject to role privileges to do so). There is no option to share to groups via the Hub app, as there is for all other AGO items in your content (assuming role privies to do so). We've found that you can share an Initiative by adding desired Org members to the initiative's "...Content" group. Is this the only way to achieve this? It would be smoother and more intuitive if there was an option to share an initiative to groups (to support reviewing and approving content without being on the Team) via the Hub App where we currently have option to share to team/org/public. Note: Team members can add and edit content belonging to the site or initiative. We want to: Share initiatives to members to review/approve the site or initiative without giving them edit access to the initiative.
