Hey Rickey thanks for the quick reply! I've got one more variable that mucks that idea up though . I need this layer to include all features because it is being queried from an external application, and a modified selection list is being sent back to that application. I would prefer not to bring together two selection sets for the communication.

Hello, Is it possible to configure the application to only display popups for certain features within a layer? The default identify behavior on clicking the map is to identify any feature within a layer and get a popup if enabled. Unless you set a definition query in the published mxd in which case you will not see/identify certain features. I would like to be able to see all features, but only get identify results for some of them based on attribute. Thanks!

Hi 2CDSD 2C, have you tried changing the layer symbology to "from layer" and then selecting "Add\Edit Layer specific symbology"? This is in the widgets configuration for each layer

Hi Robert how are you! Great Widget thanks! I am using the "By Spatial" search after selecting a feature "By Shape". I have found that when performing "search entities of" intersecting a buffer, the resultant selection is always from the first/top feature class in the drop down list even if i have selected a different layer. In other words, I can select any feature by shape or attribute from any of three search layers, but when i go to select spatially based on a buffer, the first layer in the search entities list has the selection performed on it. If I go into the widgets user config and change the order of the search layers, the new top item is always selected (even if i choose a different layer). It may be important to note that i am running Enhanced Search Widget Version 1.3.0.1 - 1/11/16, within Web appbuilder D.E. 1.2 Any thoughts on this? Thanks!

Hi Robert, I added 'dojo/query' to the end of this list which is at the beginning of a widgets Widget.js file (In your map progress widget). Is that all I need to do to "require" dojo/query? Thanks! define([

'dojo/_base/lang',
'dojo/on',

Hi all, has anyone here on the forum spent any time setting up a widget that can run queries (insert, update, delete) against a sql server database table that is not stored in an ArcGIS server database? We would like to know whether it is as simple as having the correct database connection string and credentials and passing a query... or whether it is much more involved. This doesn't necessarily matter but the table would be set up for Tempest land management software. Thanks!

Hi Robert, ok thanks for the quick reply and explanation! I have noticed you can still use the on screen plus/minus zoom buttons while the indicator is active, our users will be happy with that. Thanks again for all of your contributions to the community.

This is fantastic, it is very nice to know when something is loading. I especially like that turning on a layer in the toc initiates the indicator.... and if you wait for a long time like uncached contours with labels... you can choose to turn off that layer before its done and the indicator goes away. then the user still knows something was loading. Its also a good way of knowing if a layer is out of visible scale or just loading. thanks! Any how I have a question. Lets pretend i wanted users to be able to continue panning and zooming to a location on the map rather than having to wait for a full load before they can make their next pan/zoom... Is there some line of code i can comment out that disables zoom/pan prevention while loading? I have tried mucking around without any luck. Thanks!

Hey Guys, we have noticed a number of things will make the related records not display from the "show related records" hyperlink at the bottom of the popup. One of the first things to try is to make sure that the table for the related feature class is open in the attribute table widget in the application. It doesnt matter whether the feature class table is opened by default when the app loads (set up in attribute widget table options), or whether you open the feature class table from the layers drop down menu in the app. If that doesn't solve your problem, we have had to go as far as republishing the service, removing and re-adding the service from the AGOL webmap, or creating a whole new AGOL web map. Also, if you have modified the mxd the service is published on (new layer for example), this will much with the attribute table widget and related records (i can explain more if you have to go that far.)

Hi Jeremie, I kind of jumped in and tested this release as i noticed some measurement discrepancies with a utm zone 10 basemap in the previous release. Just so you know, the measurements are now accurate. Looking forward to the official release! Great widget by the way!
