One way to check if anything is contained in the new *.stylx file, you can open the Catalog View from the View core tab, go to the Styles folder, click the newly added style file and you'll see all the Style Classes (points, polygons, color schemes and such). Is anything there?

So your MS Excel file is read-only in ArcGIS Pro - as such, you cannot add an X and Y attribute field to your *.xlsx file. To do this, you'll need to export the layer to a new Feature Class in your project file geodatabase. Then you can run the Calculate Geometry Attributes (Data Management) GP tool to add the Lat/Long coordinates to your newly created feature class.

Thank you for the response. I believe I've found the reason this occurs - there's an FAQ document here that explains the why's.

ArcGIS Pro does support the *.svg format and it appears you can import svgs to a style using this GitHub sample here.

Whenever I see general strangeness, like this, I recommend doing a soft factory reset to restore core ArcGIS Pro functionality. You can find the details on how to do this here.

Thank you for the data download as I'm able to replicate the issue on my side. I think this is a BUG. I'd recommend contacting Esri Support Services to log an incident. I'm not seeing anything on the internals showing this. I was able to work around it by changing the category to Percentage and the radio button (number represents a fraction. Adjust it to show as a percentage."

If you go to the Analysis tab and in the Geoprocessing group, there is the History command there. Or are you looking for something more specific?

Because labels are part of the Map View and a property of a layer, they are drawn in that Map View only. In the Layout View, when you add a new Map View on top of the first one, each Map View is independent of each other with regards to label placement. The only thing I can think of is convert labels to annotation or use Map Notes instead of labels. Map Notes allow for user input and you can move them anywhere you want whereas labels are dynamice and the placement is controlled by Maplex or the Standard Labeling engine.
