Hello there! Seeing a lot of these "upgraded to 3.3" items appear in the Esri Community. One thing I always do on the upgrade checklist is to do a soft reset of ArcGIS Pro when going from 3.x to the newest release. You can learn more about it here - How To: Perform an ArcGIS pro Soft Reset (esri.com)

If you're able to, would you be able to send me the data or a subset of the data so I can work with it using my ArcGIS Pro 3.3? My email address is rleclair at esri dot com - thx!

So you're almost there! In the Catalog Pane, click the Project tab at the top, then click Databases and expand the databases folder. You'll see your fGDB there!

Hmmm...my ArcGIS Pro 3.3 does not exhibit this behavior. I can use the CTRL key to move the anchor point to a new location, zoom in/out and the new anchor location stays where I moved it to. Is your snapping on by chance? Maybe that's the issue is the anchor point is not snapping to the feature? You can also consider doing a soft reset of ArcGIS Pro following the steps here.

Hi Erik - the Esri Academy is experiencing some issues this morning. If you're using Edge to connect to these web courses (they still exist BTW), I know the Chrome browser is working for me to see and connect to these classes.

ArcGIS Pro 2.2 was released June 16, 2018 and is a retired product. When ArcGIS Pro 3.0 was released, it was considered a breaking release as mentioned here. What's the name of the Add-in? Esri Add-in or non-Esri Add-in?

ArcGIS Pro can also do heat map symbology for points using the workflow seen here but if you want to create a true density raster dataset then you'll need to use the Kernel Density or Point Density GP tools. Both density tools output are really a count of features per square area unit and not to be confused with a Hot Spot Analysis. That's a completely different workflow and output dataset.

This is strange issue indeed! So let's try a few more things. Create a new file geodatabase, copy/paste the FC to the new fGDB and see if you can export to a shapefile from the new fGBD. Another thing to try is the Recover File Geodatabase GP tool to see if you have a corrupted fGDB. What is the result of these two workflows?

@DavidAdelsberg - you're welcome! I've enjoyed working through this workflow! I think I have a better understanding of the issue and a solution that mixes ModelBuilder and some Python. Instead of worrying about Models and Submodels to run iterators (can only have one iterator per model but submodels do get around this issue, I decided to create 3 standalone models and 1 Python script tool in a Toolbox. 1. The first model is the Delete Model. It deletes all feature classes and feature datasets. The standalone Delete GP tool is hardcoded to delete the FDS in the target. See image below. DeleteModel.JPG 2. The next model is the Copy Feature Class Model - this copies all FC's from the source geodatabase to the target geodatabase. See image below. CopyFeaturesModel.JPG 3. The next model copies the Feature Datasets from the source geodatabase to the target geodatabase. The key with this one is using the %Name% inline variable for the output data parameter in the Copy GP tool. This will use the name of the input FDS and copy an exact copy of the name in the target GDB. CopyFeatureDatasetModel.JPG 4. Next I created a simple Python script that calls the models sequentially. See image below: RunModelInSequencePythonScript.JPG Lastly, in the project toolbox, I right-clicked on the toolbox and selected Script and fill out the tabs to point to the Python script. This is now a Python Script tool you can rerun regularly. I've tested it many times and there are no _1's or _2's present. One last thing to double check is your Project->Options->Geoprocessing tab for the "Allow geoprocessing tools to overwrite existing datasets" is checked on. Let me know what you discover from the process setting it to your enterprise geodatabase connections.

@HollyTorpey_LSA - I followed your workflow in ArcGIS Pro 3.3 and did not see the error messages you are seeing. Here's something to try. Instead of doing the export features in your current *.aprx, start a new ArcGIS Pro project (i.e. - "start without a template") and try the Export Features again. Does it still error out?
