You bet - happy to help out. As time permits, I recommend upgrading to ArcGIS Pro 1.3.1 (latest release). A lot of new functionality and more stable as well.

In ArcGIS Pro, I did a search on NZ Topographic Basemap via the Project Pane and clicked All Portal (i.e. the cloud) for the search. This particular basemap has much more detail than the standard topographic basemap. Hope this helps!

In ArcGIS Pro 1.3.1 (my current version), go to the Data Management toolbox under the Package toolset. There you will see Create Vector Tile Index and Create Vector Tile Package. Hope this helps.

Do you have any Business Analyst GP tools in your GP service? If so, they will throw this error.

By chance are you running the Table to Table GP tool prior to the Make Query Table GP tool in ModelBuilder? If so, this is a known bug - BUG-000088138 : The 'Table to Table' tool fails in ModelBuilder if the input is a query layer.

Not sure if this will help with the Drone2Map crashes but it does alleviate ArcGIS Pro crashes. Go to your Device Manager on your Windows machine and determine the make/model of your video card. From there, go directly to the manufacturers website and download the latest driver. Windows Update will not do this. Install the latest driver - do the crashes continue? Pls. advise.

Honestly, I would work with the latest release. Yes, the UI is similar between 1.1 and 1.3.x but the stability/enhancements/functionality are much, much better than 1.1. You should have no problem learning Pro especially with your ArcMap experience. Here is a great site for Pro resources and learning - https://community.esri.com/docs/DOC-3027-introduction-to-arcgis-pro-for-gis-professionals-12-class-resources

I think we discovered the problem. ArcGIS Pro requires IE 10 or 11 before you install Pro on the machine. What I would do on your machine that is throwing the error is completely uninstall ArcGIS Pro from it. Download and install IE 11. After that, install ArcGIS Pro 1.3. I suspect the error message will be gone and Pro will run on your machine now.

Since Pro is installed in a different directory than ArcMap (32 bit vs. 64 bit), you can run any release of ArcMap you want side by side with Pro.

Your .NET Framework is current so no need to uninstall/reinstall. There's no need to install Python 3.4 - http://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/arcpy/get-started/installing-python-for-arcgis-pro.htm One thing to check is Internet Explorer - are you at IE 10/11 or an earlier release? http://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/get-started/arcgis-pro-system-requirements.htm

I would not install ArcGIS Pro 1.1/1.2 at all as the latest release of Pro 1.3.1 has more features, more capability, less prone to crashes and is a better release than earlier releases. It would require you to completely uninstall 1.3.x, earlier release of the .NET Framework and install Python 3.4. Not worth the headache. My recommendation is uses ArcGIS Pro 1.3.x until the next release of Pro - 1.4 - end of this year.

Without diving deep in hardware specs/requirements, it's "possible" the RAM difference was causing the crash. Sometimes antivirus programs do weird things too. I guess since it works on a colleagues PC, then this thread is somewhat resolved. Last question - besides the RAM difference, is the make/model of the PC similar or vastly different?

Pro will work with 4GB of RAM but is a "less than enjoyable user experience" I'd run the "Can you Run It (Pro)" on both machines to see what the differences are: http://cyri.systemrequirementslab.com/Client/Standard/?apikey=50F41142-39B0-4061-97C2-BA7B7FE43D0E&refid=1186&item=12433
