With enterprise geodatabases, your hosted web layer can "reference registered data" so your web layers in essence are pointing to the enterprise geodatabase feature classes. With file geodatabases, this is not an option. I guess you could add the hosted web layer to an existing map view that has the original source feature class. Then run a Select by Location GP tool to select those points that are coincident. Then do an inverse select and copy/paste the features to the file geodatabase feature class.

I know AGP can work with *.rbj files created in ArcMap and be reused in AGP but not sure about updating them.

Robert - the only way I've seen to update the z-field for the Map Note is via the Layer Properties->Elevation property. From there, I tell AGP the features are on the ground with a cartographic offset. If I type 1.0 for cartographic offset, my z-value goes to 3.28'. If I type 2.0 for cartographic offset, my z-value goes to 6.56 and so on. I don't know if there's a way to manually enter a value.

Justin - as Ryan mentioned, go to the Catalog Pane in AGP, expand Databases, right-click your database connection and select Versions from the Context Menu. A versions tab opens up in AGP as well as Versions contextual tab to create/manage/delete your Versions. See the graphics below. Hope this helps!

Christian - my Dell 5285 Tablet uses the Intel HD Graphics 620 video card (onboard) and I've had little issues. If I have a complex 3D scene (rarely), it takes a little time to refresh but for my 2D work, it zips right along. I ran the CanYouRunIt executable and the only thing that threw a "concern" as Dedicated video RAM (recommended is 512 MB and I have 128 MB). Everything else was GREEN.

I too am seeing this with a PostgreSQL feature class. Me thinks it's a bug. I'd recommend contacting Esri Support Services to log an incident and get a bug number.

Stephanie - shapefiles are notorious for missing the *.prj files (projection files). To create a *.prj for each shapefile, you can run the Define Projection geoprocessing tool. It does require that you know what the projection is in the first place. If the shapefiles with the missing *.prj file matches up with a known coordinate system in your map view, then you can use that projection. Hope this helps!

As an Esri Instructor, I use a Dell 5285 tablet with a touch screen/stylus option - works well! Agree with Dan - don't skimp on RAM when selecting your model.

Bill - not to be flippant at all but have you logged an incident with Esri Support Services to see if they can determine why AGP performance via your network is painfully slow? If not, I'd recommend you do so to assist in troubleshooting this issue. Hopefully they can resolve the issue to make AGP more usuable in your environment.

In ArcMap, there were two types of annotation - map annotation and geodatabase annotation. Map annotation could be created by converting labels to annotation with the radio button "stored in the map" clicked. Another way to create map annotation was via the Draw Toolbar in ArcMap. Map annotation as the name implies is stored in the map document (i.e. *.mxd). I "think" you were using Map Annotation vs. labels. Labels are managed as a group so all label properties are applied to that label group. One could not delete a single label as a result. ArcGIS Pro only supports geodatabase annotation and labels. Map annotation is not supported. A workaround is to create/use Map Notes in ArcGIS Pro. You may learn more here.
