Bill - question for you. You mentioned you close the Map View but keep the AGP application open, correct? If so, then the *.aprx file is still open. Closing a Map View does not close the AGP project file (*.aprx). You can navigate to the Catalog Pane, go to Map, and double-click the map to open. Now if you fully close the AGP application, then then the project is closed. You can reopen it by double clicking the *.aprx in a MS File Explorer or open an existing project in AGP. Any insight to your workflow would be helpful.

Jamal - not the same workflow as ArcMap but this Technical Support FAQ will guide you how to add a hyperlink path to a field in AGP. Another possible way to implement this functionality is by configuring your pop-ups with a URL. Good luck!

From what I've been able to research the "Generate Fishbone" tool was from the ArcMap version of the Address Data Management solution from back in the day. There is an ArcGIS Pro version of the Address Data Management solution here that "may" have a similar workflow but I have not downloaded nor tested the solution. Hope this helps!

Dominick/Steve/Pete - email me your email addresses to [email protected] - I have all 50 DDV States. I downloaded them years ago when ArcScripts and other sites were going down. They were too good to be lost to the electrons.

Thx for the update Mike. Now I'm tracking with your workflow. The attached screenshot did not come through unfortunately. Is your AGP a Home Use program or are you using from your employer? The reason I ask is I wonder if you have the necessary publishing rights with your license. That could explain what's happening.

In re-reading this thread, are you using ArcMap or ArcGIS Pro to publish the feature layer to AGOL? Or are you strictly using AGOL for all the work? I wonder if you're a Level 1 user which could prevent publishing layers to AGOL.

Sean - I do not know the reasoning behind it as I'm not on the Dev side or the Support Services side rather the Training Services side. Perhaps another Esri employee reviewing this thread may know?

No. The geodatabase is independent of ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro so the steps should work regardless.

It's only the labels are changed when you apply the GP tool, correct? One thing that comes to mind is the label engines. In ArcMap, the default labeling engine is the Standard Labeling engine. In AGP, the default labeling engine is Maplex. What is the labeling engine you're using in ArcMap compared to AGP?

In AGP... Add the shapefile to a new map view in ArcGIS Pro. Click the Share tab and in the Share As group, click Web Layer Publish to ArcGIS Online. When the time comes to overwrite the web layer, click the dropdown on the Web Layer command and select Overwrite Web Layer. Could be an easier workflow!

You could customize the Quick Access toolbar in ArcGIS Pro by going to the Project tab->Options->Quick Access Toolbar. Then in the "Choose commands from" -> All commands and search for "show". Select the third result and click the Add button to move it over to the list of Quick Access toolbar commands. Click OK. Now select features in a Map View then click the "Attribute Table Showing Selection" button on the Quick Access toolbar. Bam! A table opens with only the selected records.

I see. So using ArcGIS Online only with no other Esri products licensed? Correct? If this is the case, then deleting/uploading the zipped up shapefile is your only course of action to my knowledge.
