I am attempting to run an attribute join on two hosted feature layers that are both owned by me. I can complete the join as expected but I am unable to create a view layer from the results, therefore the resulting feature layer is static. Is this a known limitation in Portal? I have been able to use this tool without issue in AGO.

I am using the web form but was able to get it to work correctly. For some reason my XYs were being truncated but when I concatenated them into one string using a calculate data type field and plugged into into the geopoint questions it worked fine. Thank you for your response.

I am working with view layers in portal and ran across an issue where it seems that when a feature in the primary table is edited the feature and objectID is duplicated in the view layer. See the following: Primary layer. Note that there are no duplicate objectIDs: View layer. Note objectID 1930 is duplicated several times: Additionally, if the view layer is brought into a web map the feature is only drawn once, however the duplicate features remain in the table: Also, if I bring the service into ArcGIS Pro the duplicates do not appear either drawn in the map or in the table. Any suggestions? I have attempted to rebuild the view layer without any change in behavior. Thanks.

Experiencing this limitation as well. My workflow is similar except that it's pulling XYs for tornado siren locations from an external CSV. When the coordinates are imported from the CSV using the pulldata() function the coordinates are truncated at 2 decimal points causing the points to be roughly 75ft from where they "should" be.

I experienced this issue with a Windows 10 device as well. The front facing camera worked as expected while the regular camera would not take a photo. This was while using Survey123 3.7. I had an installation file for 3.5 available so I uninstalled 3.7 and installed 3.5 and the problem does not persist.

A coworker recently deleted roughly 100 features from a feature service and I am attempting to recover them by copying the SQLLite database from the device and transferring it to my PC. I copied the SQLLite database and MyAttachments to the correct folder on my machine and am able to see the submitted surveys in Survey123 field app. However, it seems my only option is to copy data from submitted survey and resubmit as a new survey. This is problematic because the attachments are not maintained. If I attempt to edit and submit the original survey I am given an error that the feature does not exist (because it has been deleted.) Is there a way that I can export the data from SQLLite to a geodatabase so that I can append the missing/deleted features to the original feature service? Any other suggestions are welcomed. I have attached the SQLLite database. Thank you.

After some testing, I noticed that if I capture location using the web form Survey123 it seems to cache that location and will use it again if the survey is reloaded within around 5-10 minutes. So for instance, I completed a survey with relatively accurate location (around 10ft estimated horizontal accuracy) then walked two blocks and reloaded the survey on the same device and the location shown was the same location (and estimated horizontal accuracy) as the initial location captured. If I restart the device and load the survey the location is once again accurate.

I can open a ticket. To expand somewhat, the issue seemed to be when a feature was created using Windows Collector and then edited using the web form (as seen in the screenshot above.) I tested using the Android version of Collector and did not experience the same problem. I was able to work around this by changing the time format in the web map used in Collector to 24 hour time. The error no longer occurs.

James, Thanks for your help. Do you have any tips on improving accuracy of surveys collected via a web form? Is there anything I can do in Survey123 Connect to better refine a location? I am not looking to get anything very precise, roughly 30ft or so would be fine. But what I have noticed is that location accuracy in the web form is much less accurate (sometimes several hundred ft or more from actual location) than the same survey in the app. It makes sense since the app is continuously pulling location, but is there anything I can do to improve accuracy within a web form? Thanks.

The issue turned out to be my organization had a block on updating browsers. Once I reinstalled Chrome (it was running version 56.x and updated to 77.x) the issue went away.

Thank you Dante. I was able to figure it out after a little bit of tinkering. However I am now running into an issue where dateTime questions are being converted to AM time by default. For example:

Right so here's a screenshot from a completely different survey (that has no custom submission logo or anything like that) with the same error. I can view both surveys fine in the app version of Survey123 just not in the web. And this limitation is only on certain machines. For instance I can't view the survey on my work computer but can view it from my laptop using the same login credentials and same browser. However if I remote into another machine that I frequently do work on I can no longer view the survey on it (initially I had no issues on that machine.) I can also view the survey without issue on my Android phone in a web browser. I initially believed it to be some sort of cache issue but I have cleared the cache and not had any luck. I have also tried on Firefox and receive the same error. On Edge I get a different error completely saying "TypeError: Object doesn't support property or method 'after'" Internet Explorer I haven't had issue with. Puzzling.
