Hi Gabriel, In ArcGIS Pro you can only make user connections to ArcGIS for Server or to a portal's federated server. User connections do not have privileges to manage services that are published to ArcGIS server or a portal's federated server. You will need to use ArcMap or Manager to do so. You may delete hosted services/web layers (those published to an ArcGIS organization or Portal for ArcGIS) directly from the Project pane in ArcGIS Pro. You can't publish directly to the federated server from ArcGIS Pro. That is, you can't create a publisher server connection directly to the federated server like you can in ArcMap. You are right Mahender. You cannot publish services directly to ArcGIS for Server using ArcGIS Pro. If you have Portal for ArcGIS, you can publish hosted web layers from ArcGIS Pro. Hi Jørn, I apologize for the delayed response. ArcGIS Pro no longer supports sharing/publishing multipatch layers as web scene layers from a scene. The ability to share a web scenes to Portal for ArcGIS was also removed in a previous release. In the upcoming ArcGIS Online release and subsequent ArcGIS Pro update, users will be able to share web scenes to their ArcGIS Online organizations. Joanne ... View more

Hi Jordan, When you register a database as the server�??s managed database, the data is always copied to this database if you publish a service with feature access enabled. If you use data from this registered database in a map and publish it, it will still be copied to the server. If you want the service to reference the data, you would need to register the database as shared. You cannot register the same database as the server�??s managed database and shared. It has to be one or the other. It is recommended that you have a dedicated database to act as the server�??s managed database versus reusing data from this same database to author maps for publishing. Joanne ... View more

Hi Will, Can you tell me more about the mxd and raster data you are trying to publish to ArcGIS Online? What type of raster is it? How big is it? What parameters have you set for the hosted service? Warning 24041 Layer does not have a feature template set will appear when you publish feature services and you don�??t have a feature template for editing set. The default solution is to remove the layer. You can access the solutions by right-clicking the message in the Prepare window. If you double-click as you did, the default solution to remove the layer is applied.
