That is unfortunate that your map service URLs will change. Before your next upgrade you should make changes to your network infrastructure so you can maintain your map service URLs. The ArcGIS Online Assistant can be used to update the map service URLs used in a web map. Give it a try here - https://ago-assistant.esri.com/ Bernie.

Jeff, I answered a very similar question from you a few weeks ago. We have done similar upgrades several times. To handle the switch over from the old servers to the new servers we use our proxy server / firewall. We have a great network admin team that handles this for us so I do not know all of the details. But, in a nutshell, this is my understanding of how it worrks. All of our incoming traffic passess through our proxy server and it directs the traffic to the appropriate server on the inside of our firewall. All we do is change the proxy server so traffic to old_server/arcgis/rest/services is redirected to new_server/arcgis/rest/services. You always want to avoid changing the URL to your services. Bernie.

I am trying to identify traffic from ArcMap users in my Web Adaptor logs. I can easily see the client names for ArcGIS Pro: ArcGIS Pro 2.8.0 (00000000000) - ArcGISPro ArcGIS Pro 2.9.1 (00000000000) - ArcGISPro ArcGIS Pro 2.9.2 (00000000000) - ArcGISPro ArcGIS Pro 2.9.3 (00000000000) - ArcGISPro ArcGIS Pro 3.0.0 (00000000000) - ArcGISPro ArcGIS Pro 3.0.1 (00000000000) - ArcGISPro But what which client name will identify traffci from ArcMap users? By process f elimination I think it is: ArcGIS Client Using WinInet Is that correct? If you are curious, here are the other client names that included the text "GIS": ArcGIS Hub Indexer ArcGIS Server ArcGISRuntime-Android/100.15 (Android 12.0; arm64-v8a; SAMSUNG-SM-N975W) arcgis-fieldmaps/22.3.1 (03c1ab25-555a-4393-9f45-2d7529add0d9) ArcGISRuntime-Android/100.7.1 (Android 12.0; arm64-v8a; SAMSUNG-SM-A715W) arcgis-explorer/20.2.2 (4da61019-077e-4fd5-bc86-3a241a5b7578) ArcGISRuntime-iOS/100.7 (iOS 13.5; iPhone11,8) arcgis-explorer/20.0.1 (2F751506-274A-433B-8EFE-3DEDD49C2C36) ArcGISRuntime-iOS/100.7 (iOS 15.6.1; iPhone12,1) arcgis-explorer/20.0.1 (2FE17792-8179-4A63-8DCB-805517CC8C4C) ArcGISRuntime-iOS/100.7 (iOS 15.6.1; iPhone12,8) arcgis-explorer/20.0.1 (8E913593-C42A-4DBA-A7EF-4E3BDFFD3B48) ArcGISRuntime-iOS/100.7 (iOS 15.6.1; iPhone14,2) arcgis-explorer/20.0.1 (8FEF0EE3-E06E-4FBA-8C86-1DD737A78801) ArcGISRuntime-iOS/100.7 (iOS 15.6.1; iPhone8,1) arcgis-explorer/20.0.1 (C74FF742-D808-45BD-90C1-28F366E3AAC4) ArcGISRuntime-NET/100.12 (Windows 10.0.17763; Win64; WOW64; .NET 4.7.2) Mozilla/5.0 QGIS/31202 Mozilla/5.0 QGIS/31401 Thanks, Bernie.

Jeff, As long as the old and new servers are using different http addresses there should not be any conflicts. My organization and many others simultaneously run a staging server and a production server for ArcGIS server. There are no conflicts because the staging server and the production server have unique http addresses. Bernie.

Jeff, We have done similar upgrades several times and the cut-over from the old servers to the new servers has always been quite easy. It is all done with the network. Right now all of the ArcGIS Server traffic is being directed by your firewall / proxy server to https://old_server/arcgis/rest/services. When you are ready for the cut-over you can reconfigure your firewall / proxy to send the traffic to https://new_server/arcgis/rest/services. I am not a networking expert so the above is short on details. We have a great network team to support us. You should reach out to your IT / Network admin to assist with the cut-over. Good luck, Bernie.

Jamal, the Topographic service is your basemap. Every web map has a basemap. You can use the Basemap tool to select another basemap that will be less distracting. The Light Gray Canvas would be a nice choice. Another option is to use one of your own layers as the basemap but I don't think this is possible with a hosted feature layer. I know when I add a map service from our own ArcGIS Server I have the option to use it as the basemap: Bernie.

@rhughes522 , I loaded the page and watched the video this morning with no problem. The image you shared indicates that your browser is not loading the .css styling for the page. It could be an aggressive firewall rule blocking the CSS. Can you load the same page on your phone? It should work there. Bernie.

The video demonstrating how to re-create an existing WAB app using Experience Builder is excellent. I highly recommend it to all Esri users that have built WAB apps. Choosing a parcel viewer app for the demonstration was a great choice. Most jurisdictions publish a parcel viewer app. Thanks, Bernie.

Jason, All of our map services are public. One of our users created a simple ASP.NET page that will send 15 queries spread accross 10 map services and the geometry service. The results are displayed in a table. If the 15 query results match the expected result the then the text in the table is green. If the results do not match then the corresponding table row is red. The user created this ASP.NET page to test our map services that they are using in an application. They posted it to a public web server so we could also take advantage of it as a diagnostic / monitoring tool. It is simple but it is very helpful. Send me a private message if you want more info.

Eric, I suspect a salesperson has suggested the ExB would be a good tool to build your app and they suggested that you try it out. But before you ever get to building an ExB app you have to prepare your data, clean it, and load it into ArcGIS Online as a hosted feature layer - its like creating a web service to allow you to query your data and create map images of your data. Next you would compose a wep map in the ArcGIS Online map viewer. The web map would be configured with a basemap, rules on how to display your data, symbolize your data, and configure pop-ups that will display a record for a single map feature when you select it on the map. After you have completed the above steps is when you would begin building an ExB app. It's no wonder you were having difficulty understanding the Experience Builder interface when you were not shown how to prepare your data for use in ExB. Bernie.

The Experience Builder app interface is fairly complex and it takes some practice to become accustomed to the features and workflow. Sounds like you must have been given an evaluation account on ArcGIS Online. When you first login to arcgis.com you should see a header like this: It was previously called "My Content" but now its just called "Content". If you are already in the ExB app you can click on your user logo in the top right corner and select "My Proflie" from the drop down menu. This will open a new tab and display the "Content" link in the banner across the top of the new tab: Bernie.

Eric, the first step is to add data to "My Content" before you open ExB. Then when you click the "Add Data" button in ExB you select from the data that is in your "My Content". This link should help - https://doc.arcgis.com/en/arcgis-online/manage-data/add-items.htm Bernie.
