I've been using the pulldata feature to retrieve information from a csv based on a selection made in a select_one question. When the choice is selected from the list, data is retrieved from the csv to auto populate other fields of the form. This functionality is great, however, it requires that I copy the "ID" field to my choices list in the XLS file. I think it would be a great idea if I could just pull out that "ID" field as my choice list. As an addition to this idea, I noticed that there is now support for javascript in the PullData feature, but no support for asynchronous requests. That would be a great feature to add on as well. With that ability, we could have our choice lists update themselves from an internet resource, without having to republish the survey123 form.

I cannot seem to get page swiping to work on iphone se (ios 11.2.2) as described in online documentation at Appearance—Survey123 for ArcGIS | ArcGIS. For a Group of Questions: "By setting the appearance value to field-list and the style column in the settings sheet to pages, a group of questions will display on a separate page of the survey, accessible by swiping left or right." - I've done this and my survey contains two pages. I can get to the second page by tapping the chevron icon at the bottom, but swiping does not switch between pages for me as mentioned in the documentation. Is there something I'm missing? Also wanted to mention that once I am viewing the second page, it is very hard to return to the first page. The only way that I see is to tap the tiny circles at the top of the page. I saw in other posts that it seems like there are plans to add a new button at the bottom to go back to a previous page. When do you expect this to be released?

It seems like a change has been made to Survey123 when it comes to image questions in a repeat to capture multiple attachments for a record. At version 1.8 I'm pretty sure all the images were stored as attachments to the main record, now at version 2.4 it seems that all the images are stored as a related table containing a row that contains an attachment field for each individual image. Is there a way to set up a survey to allow users to add multiple attachments to a single feature layer without having to generate a schema with a related table?

I had a similar issue, and the response was that there is a known bug with the autocomplete in a repeat. https://community.esri.com/message/685546-issue-with-selectone-autocomplete-in-repeat

I have a select_one question with an appearance of autocomplete inside of a repeat. When I click the plus button to add a new item in the repeat, the select_one question is not cleared. I have other questions in the repeat that are cleared (ready for new input), but the select_one with the autocomplete appearance still contains the value from the before adding the new item. Shouldn't it also clear so that it is ready for the new information?

In the meantime, is there a way to install an older version of Survey123 on IOS (iphone)? Or is there a work-around so that the signatures are not clipped when the survey is submitted? We have an application that we are testing, but without the signature, it will not be a successful test.

Not sure if this suddenly started happening at version 2.0.xxx of Survey 123, but I've just noticed that signature images are clipped in the submitted data. Attached is a copy of one of MY signatures from the ArcGIS Online feature service. Has there been a change to signatures?

Hi Mike, Although configuring Survey123 to send an e-mail is not out of the box functionality, if you have programming ability, then it is possible to write a script/program that will do that for you. We developed a windows service that runs on our server to send a pdf copy of the submitted survey back to the user after they have submitted it. Basic rundown: - At regular intervals it checks the featureclass in ArcGIS Online to see if anything new has been submitted. - When there is something new, it generates a pdf (we generate a completed report that has the format/layout we want). - Then sends an e-mail with the pdf attached.

My work around came from another post suggesting creating a select_multiple question for each choice in the previous list and make each one relevant accordingly. Then concatenate all select_multiple answers, in a calculation for a text question (I used hidden).

You can use a constraint. If the name of your "how many people live at home" question is total, then you could put ".< ${total}" in the constraint column for the "How many kids live at Home" question.

I have a select_multiple in my form so a user can select all of the ongoing activities at an inspection site. A previous question asks the user what type of construction is taking place 1 thru 7. For each type I want to have a filtered list of activities so our users would not have to scroll through the list of all possible activities, but only the ones that could be taking place for the selected type of construction. Choice filter works fine for select_one, I was surprised when it didn't work for select_multiple. Are there plans to implement this in the future?

Address was an example. If we were to use that, I think the single address field would be sufficient. Another example would be to add contractor information to an inspection assignment. For instance add custom fields to Assignment for the contractor's name and telephone number so our mobile users can see who they are inspecting and how to contact them. We are currently using the notes field for this information. Again having the ability to pass the values of the custom fields to survey123 would be valuable so that contractor information is stored in the submitted survey, and also included on the pdf. In order to do this, I'm picturing that a user would have to configure workforce to let it know for which survey123 questions to populate with which field values from workforce.
