Hello Karl, That'd be great! Or, alternatively, do you reproduce the issue when your data is exported to a file geodatabase? If yes, we can get a copy of that zipped up. If not, this could be something having to do with the RDBMS or views in particular. You should be able to attach items to your post (use the Advanced Editor to see the Attach option). Alternatively, if you'd like to call in and create a support case, you can request it to be assigned to Rachel G in Support Services and I can assist on this issue with you directly. That way your data won't be posted publicly here on GeoNet. Thanks! Best regards, Rachel

Hello Karl! I took a quick review of the bug in question, [BUG-000108852 - Definition query validation incorrectly states no records were returned]. The instructions of the bug mention a dataset that we don't have in Support. Development likely had it when they addressed the issue, or were able to reproduce the issue with another dataset. However, I'm having trouble reproducing this with my own dataset. Do you have a dataset you can reproduce the issue on, and are you able to provide it? If not, I can keep fiddling around to see if I can pin this down, though getting a dataset directly from you may be quicker. Let me know! We're happy to investigate as long as we can reproduce the issue for you! Best regards, Rachel Esri Support Services

Hello Chad, I have a quick idea... Could you perhaps have ran into a publishing interruption at some point, which got stuck and prevents any future publishing? This sounds similar to a case I handled recently. With Esri software closed, please go ahead and try renaming the following directory on your machine: C:\Users\<USERPROFILE>\AppData\Local\ESRI\ArcGISPro Renaming the folder allows you to revert your changes if needed. Go ahead and rename that to ArcGISPro_Old, then re-launch ArcGIS Pro and try publishing again. That should clear out your job queue. I'd like to see if that fixes the issue. Hello Chad, I'd definitely try narrowing down the issue. All of the below have been frequent scenarios we see in Support: - Try the same computer on another network -- this helps troubleshoot network issues - Try a different computer on the same network -- this helps us determine if it's your computer/install - If you are logging in to Windows on that machine, have another colleague try logging into Windows and doing the same workflow -- this helps troubleshoot potentially corrupted Windows profiles - You already tried another dataset, so we know that's not the problem - Do you have ArcMap on your machine? Does that publish successfully? - If you save one of the layers as a shapefile, then zip all the component pieces into a zip folder, and add it to ArcGIS Online using My Content, does that succeed? -- This helps us determine if there's something wrong with your username or organization If the above computer/network suggestions aren't an option, we can always get into further troubleshooting of your install/machine, but I tend to suggest starting with the narrow-down steps to be sure you're going in the right direction. Other troubleshooting would include renaming a few folders in a few key locations and, potentially, running a repair or uninstall/reinstall of the software as needed. Hello Joe, I suspect you may be looking for the Locate tool. This can be found on the Map tab. Can you check this and see if it's what you're looking for? For more information, see: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/help/data/geocoding/find-places-on-the-map.htm . Thank you! Best regards, Rachel Esri Support Services

Hello Chad, If the program is publishing that many layers, depending on your network it may take a while, but this does sound a little excessive. Do you see the same issue if you try publishing on another network? For example, if it's a laptop, take it to a library or take it home from work - can you publish faster there? We often see security software get in the way of publishing. Can you just publish one layer successfully? (Right-click the layer in the Table of Contents > Share as > Web Layer). Thanks! Hello Thomas, As a quick side-note, I went ahead and logged the following bug: [BUG-000120872: Clustering is not available for sub-layers of map services when the map service is added to a web map.] The bug requests to either resolve this in a future version of ArcGIS Online and Portal for ArcGIS, or requests the documentation to be updated to include a statement that map services aren't supported. Hello Thomas! I reviewed your web map, and it looks like you added a map service to the web map. When you expand the "Map", you do see your layer, but there's no clustering option there. I suspect this is either a known limitation or a bug, not sure which. You can get around this by adding the layer itself to the map instead of a map service. Try going to Add > Layer from Web > enter the following: https://gis.pearlandtx.gov/server/rest/services/Map/MapServer/0 The clustering capability starts showing if you add your layer that way. Let me know if that works? Best regards, Rachel Esri Support Services

Hello Scott! ArcMap can be tricky when updating Online content as it often hides error messages behind the scenes. The best way to expose those error messages and find out why something's occurring is to get a Fiddler log when trying to synchronize your local edits. I'd recommend doing a quick review of the software Fiddler, and see if you can capture a log during synchronization: https://community.esri.com/groups/technical-support/blog/2018/06/07/monitoring-web-service-requests-using-fiddler If you're able to call in to Support Services, we can definitely review the Fiddler log with you, if you're interested, and try and find out what's going on. Hopefully that points you in the right direction! Best regards, Rachel Esri Support Services

Hello Thomas! After a quick review of the documentation for Clustering, both ArcGIS Online and Portal for ArcGIS require that the map must be in Web Mercator. Web map projections are set by the basemap, and the web map you linked to above is using a Web Mercator vector tile basemap. Therefore, it meets the criteria for the "To configure clustering on a point layer, the map must be in the WGS 84 or Web Mercator coordinate system." requirement. When you create a web map from ArcMap or ArcGIS Pro, is your basemap you're choosing a Web Mercator basemap? If your resulting web map is public, are you able to share the link? We can take a look then and see if we see something that may be causing this. Thanks! Rachel Esri Support Services.

Hello Ari, While I'm a bit rusty with VBScript, I'm familiar with Python enough to be able to fiddle around with if statements. I'm not sure if this is exactly what you were aiming for, but you may be able to modify this a bit to suit your needs. You'd have to choose the Python parser and check Advanced for it to work: def FindLabel ( [conductora], [conductorb], [conductorc], [conductorn]): a="" if str([conductora]) not in ["None","NA"]: a=a+"A"+str([conductora]) if str([conductorb]) not in ["None","NA"]: a=a+"B"+str([conductorb]) if str([conductorc]) not in ["None","NA"]: a=a+"C"+str([conductorc]) if str([conductorn]) not in ["None","NA"]: a=a+"N"+str([conductorn]) return a Here's an image of the final results: Hopefully that, plus some formatting, gets you what you need. Another thought is to use Label Classes to modify expressions based on subsets of your data. Then you won't have to deal with the if/else logic. Using label classes to label features from the same layer differently—Help | ArcGIS Desktop If you need clarification, let us know! Best regards, Rachel Esri Support Services

Hello Renee, Most Story Maps function with a click or a scroll, so it depends on how your remove slide advancer works. If you can configure your slide advancer to "click" or "scroll", you may be able to use it, but this will be entirely dependent on the hardware you're using and how it's configured. Unfortunately I don't have any here to test with. The best I can say is to test it with your device and see what happens. I don't believe testing with advancers is part of Development's testing methods, though I could certainly be wrong! There is another option, if interested. Many of our Story Maps can auto-play based on a time interval. For more information on using this, I'd recommend checking out the following blog: Using Story Map autoplay mode Best regards, Rachel Esri Support Services

Hello Bryan, When you authorized ArcMap, did you authorize as a Basic, Standard, or Advanced license? Please be sure that in ArcGIS Administrator > Desktop (on the left) the correct level has been chosen. Sometimes we see this error if, for example, a Basic license was applied but Advanced is selected. Best regards, Rachel G Esri Support Services

Hello Steve, One last question - is the image shared publicly? If not, your link will automatically add a token at the end, and because tokens expire, the link won't always work... In theory, this should be working, but it may be something we need to delve into with further detail. Can you first see if you see a different behavior if you share the image publicly, and then re-link it and try again? If the image is already public, go ahead and give us a call and create a support case. We'll take a closer look and get a bug logged if needed. Thanks! -- Rachel G Esri Support Services
