Thank you Mark and Jim, I published this survey a while ago through Connect and completely forgot about that option. Unfortunately as Jim stated, it will not overwrite the default behavior from my initial publishing. Lesson learned for next time though! I really appreciate your help. What I'm going to do is add the instructions into the summary and description section of the form. Have a great week, Michael

Has there been any resolve to this issue? I have a web app that I want to display publicly, but this widget will not work with a Feature Layer View.

Hey Jim, I got off the phone earlier with tech support. When clicking on a survey form in ArcGIS Online from your computer, there isn't a way to make it open up in the field app by default. it's always going to open the web version by default. In the screen shot I provided, the area that I circled refers only to the short link just above it.

I created a Survey using Survey 123 Connect and published it to AGOL. I then signed into the Survey 123 website to set how I want the survey to open from ArcGIS Online. I select "Open the survey in the Survey 123 field app directly." However, when I click on the survey in Survey 123, it only opens through the web browser and not the field app which is installed on my computer. Am I doing something wrong? I only want the survey to open in the field app, since users are going to be using the Inbox extensively. The survey was published using Connect version 3.1.26

Thank you for the reply Robert. I had a feeling that was the problem. I've tried making a copy and renaming the widget (NearMeCustom). I changed it's name in the manifest.json and in the Widget.js folder (baseClass: 'jimu-widget-nearmecustom' ,) . However, the widget still displays as "NearMe" in the widget panel instead of "NearMeCustom." Am I missing something?

I have an application that I built using the Web AppBuilder Developer's Edition. I downloaded and gave it to my web developer to customize the look of one widget for this particular app. He then sent it back to me and I deployed it to my server for access through AGOL. Everything has been working fine. However, now I need to make some additional changes. When I go to re upload the app to WebApp Builder, the widget that was customized reverts to it's default look and feel. The code that my web developer implemented is not holding even though it is still there. Any Idea what's causing this? Everything has been done with WAB 2.10. Thanks, Michael One thing to note: The widget I am referring to is the NearMe widget. We worked directly with it without making a copy or changing it's name. Not sure if this might be the problem.

Just tried it for the first time today and it seems to preform much better than the old Collector. However, I probably have about 300 Collector maps in my organization. How do I filter by group?

Hey James, I tried what you said about deleting the zeros and the decimal fields still do not calculate in the inbox. When I first created this survey back in February, I had to put in default zeros to get the decimals fields to calculate in the inbox . This survey worked beautifully this past spring. Has there been change to Survey 123 that could be causing this issue?

Again, I am only having this issue when I go back into survey 123 through inbox or sent and edit an existing survey. I didn't want to make this public yet, but I'm on a serious time constraint and all out of ideas. I've attached the spreadsheet and I have a case open with ESRI as well. I've tried deleting and republishing the survey. No luck!, I've tried creating a blank form and then copying and pasting into it from the original form, with no luck! The decimal fields are set as read only. I tried changing that to editable and the fields still will not populate. However, I noticed that there is now a refresh option by each question in the survey. when I hit it, the fields will then calculate. Unfortunately this will not a workable solution. I need the decimal fields to be set as read only and for them to auto calculate. I used this exact same survey back in March of this year and did not have this issue. My only other option is to rewrite this survey and I would really like to avoid this if at all possible. Thanks for any help you can provide. Michael

Hey James, Yes, it's being loaded from the inbox. I tried it using sent as well. No Luck. I also just completely deleted and recreated the survey based off of the same xls form and it's still doing the same thing. All of the fields that are to be calculated do not have any default values initially, just formulas (everything in green. Note:...."Number SPB + Clerids (integer)" does not have a default value, just a formula). The fields that are used in the calculations (the white fields) are all defaulted to zero at first. See below... The survey has been created using the latest version of Survey 123 Connect as well as the viewer. I'm all ears to suggestions.

When I first fill out a survey, all of the fields that do calculations work just fine and I submit. However, when I go back into the survey a 2nd time to add more data, the decimal fields will not calculate. Has anyone had this problem before? same results on both Android and IOS. All decimal fields are behaving this way. First Time 2nd time Thanks, Michael

Dan and Jorge, Thank you for your help. The reason I need the coordinates in DMS with decimals is because that is the standard format for my agency (and most other agencies in my state). On our maps, we are required to provide DMS coordinates at the bottom of the page (usually for the entry point to every property we visit). Without decimals, the location precision is off by a good bit ( as Dan mentioned above). It's not the end of the world, most of staff have been using Google Earth to get the Coordinates as a work around. I dream of the day we all just use decimal degrees . Michael
