I have tessellated hexagon grid polygons that have multiple rows for each grid cell. I need to dissolve these into a single feature with all the grid lines intact that has the original grid cell count in a new field. When I try to dissolve, I just get the outline of the grids. I've tried adding a common ID field and dissolving on that, but no matter what, I get the outline. Is this possible with vector analysis? I'd like to avoid converting to raster if at all possible. I've encountered weird warping of lines when I try to go from polygon to raster and back again. Before: After:

Is there any news on the implementation of this functionality? I'm being asked to develop collector apps for school reopening teams in preparation for fall. They won't be able to use the apps unless we can tie rooms to sites. This is a pretty urgent need. We need to be able to keep parents informed about COVID-19 safety measures, which rooms are being cleaned and when, etc.

Thanks for the info. We do use AGOL for the lightweight stuff, but we need a full Enterprise deployment to allow all district users to log into custom apps with their district credentials. We can't maintain separate AGOL logins and licensing for possibly hundreds of non-GIS users.

My school district has a standalone GIS Server (10.7.1) hosted with a third party. We want to upgrade to a full Enterprise deployment, but due to coming budget cuts, we probably won't be able to secure funding to upgrade our infrastructure with the server host to install and maintain Portal and Data Store. I recently completed the 2-day ArcGIS Enterprise: Configuring a Base Deployment course. It seems to me that we should be able to install Portal and Data Store on two server VMs here on site, and federate with the off site GIS server. I'm wondering if we can in fact do this, and are there good reasons not to do it this way?

I set the web survey to use the latest version (3.9), set my preferred basemap to streets and republished my survey from Connect. Still seeing the topo map in the Geopoints widget on the web form.

I have a sync enabled feature class in an sde. It is around 15000 rooms across nearly 100 buildings. The data attributes come from an IBM Tririga database. I have a Python script that checks a REST endpoint from Tririga to see if there have been any attribute changes in the last week. If so, the script updates the row in the feature class accordingly. I have two copies of this data in a dev sde (local projection and web mercator) and two copies in a production sde. What I want to accomplish is making these changes in all four versions of the feature class at once. I know that geodatabases can be replicated, but can features? There are usually a handful of space changes every week, so I don't want to make three copies of the edited feature class every time a single line is updated.
