I'm curious how to implement the following in GeoEvent server (or if its even possible) I have two point datasets - one is a static list of facilities, and the other is a list of wildfire locations from Living Atlas. How can I create a series of processors to calculate the distance between a facility and its nearest wildfire, and update a feature class of facilities and distance to nearest wildfire. It's acceptable if the distance has to be within a threshold. It seems like I could use Buffer and Intersect processors to do the first part - unclear how to generate distance between each origin facility and the nearest fire.

I'm wondering if there is a way to natively intersect 3d points with a multipatch. I'm not even so interested in an intersection as I am in easily highlighting which points fall within the multipatch volume without having to resort to altitude based attribute queries (which I don't even have with the multipatch dataset). I've tried a Select by Location and that doesn't work. And there doesn't seem to be an Intersect 3D options in Geoprocessing that fit my use case. You can see in the image that when I use the Select by Location with plain Intersect, it highlights any features that intersect the polygons regardless of elevation, as if everything was on the ground. Using the same Select By Location with Intersect 3D highlights no features. Am I going about this wrong?

I have an OLE DB connection in ArcGIS Pro (it's pointed at a Starburst instance - https://docs.starburst.io/clients/odbc.html). I am able to expand the OLE DB database (.odc) in my contents and look at the tables in my catalog. However, this only works for looking at individual tables. I've tried to add a QueryLayer, hoping I could create a new layer using SQL joining a couple tables together, but my .odc connection doesn't show up in the QueryLayer workspaces area. My only option is creating a new database connection to an RDMS instance - no option to create a new OLE DB connection. Is this expected behavior? How can I execute SQL against an OLE DB connection in ArcGIS Pro to create custom views of the tables in my source

So the issue with building extraction was a combination of the needing to extract the RGB (1 2 3) bands AND needing to downsample the imagery from 2cm to 30cm, which is what the model was trained on. Once I did that, the output was much better (and I didn't need to save a new file). Extracting the bands also helped improve the model output for pavement crack detection as well, though I didn't need to downsample for that model.

This was an interesting suggestion: I ran extract bands to only extract 1,2, and 3, and reran the tool - the results were different but equally bad. Don't know if I have to save it as new imagery (which I didn't). I think it was running on the limited bands in-memory.

I have some high resolution (2cm) 8 bit unsigned imagery, and am trying to run Detect Objects Using Deep Learning using AGOLs USA Building Footprints dlpk, and the results are awful. I'm curious if I'm doing something wrong. My projection is StatePlane Tranverse Mercator. See my screenshots below.

Is there an easy way in Pro (i.e. without Python) if I have a feature class and a table, and I want to join the SHAPE field from the feature class to the table, joining on a common attribute field. The end result I'd like is to convert the table into a feature class, based on a shared column from a reference feature class. For example, lets say I have a table with a list of facility ids. And then I have a feature class with facility ids and their location. How do I get the location information from my feature class to my table?

I'm curious if we configure our ArcGIS Online and ArcGIS Enterprise environment with the same SAML identity provider, if users can seamlessly access content stored in each environment without having to login separately. For example, a user logs into ArcGIS Online, and opens a map that point to an ArcGIS Enterprise REST endpoint (an endpoint that is restricted via a Federated Portal) that the same user has access to in Enterprise, would that user have to _also_ login to Enterprise, or would AGOL pass the SAML identity token to Enterprise seamlessly?

I'm curious if someone could help give me some examples of credit utilization for AGOL users that have a Viewer or User role. As an admin, I need to assign credits to my users, but most of the use cases I'm aware of are for Publishers - performing analysis, geocoding, geoenrichment, or anything that creates new feature layers. I know developers are a different story, so right now I'm only interested in workflows solely within ArcGIS Online. I know access to premium content requires credits, but am unclear the circumstances in which a Viewer's credits would be levied against an application. Same goes with Users. For example, accessing an application that shows Live Traffic? Would that use credits on behalf of the user? Related to this: how can I easily see a list of all Premium content in Living Atlas. I'd like to know what layers are available that require credits.

Unfortunately I don't have access to the original map projects (unless I can extract it from the service definition). That's why I was hoping there was a way to edit the zfactor in place. The only other option I can think of would be to export the FeatureService layer to FGDB, bring that multipatch layer into pro, and then republish from there. But I'm not sure what other elements from the service definition I might lose in that scenario. I wasn't the original publisher - I've just been asked to migrate the assets from one AGOL env to another.

I have been asked to migrate some SceneServices from one AGOL organization to another. The scene service seems to be published from feature services, which are themselves published from service definition files, all present in the source AGOL organization. The process I'm following it 1) download service definition file from source AGOL. 2) Upload service definition file to target AGOL, creating a feature service in the meantime, and 3) publishing a scene service from my target AGOL FeatureLayer. The feature layer published from the service definition has a single layer which is multipatch. However, when I publish the SceneLayer, the underlying service lists a ZFactor of 1. If I look at the scene service on the source AGOL instance, the ZFactor is .3048 (meters to feet). Because of this discrepancy, the elevation of my scenelayer is incorrect. I'm curious if I'm able to edit the ZFactor, either on the target feature service before publishing as a scene service, or on the scene service directly. Or do I have to do something else in order to correctly migrate these layers between organizations.

After running arcpy.server.UploadServiceDefinition to create a map service in my ArcGIS Enterprise (10.9.1), the documentation indicates I should be able access the out_mapServiceItemID by looking at result.getOutput(2). However, the return value is blank. result = arcpy.server.UploadServiceDefinition(service_definition, "https://arcgisenv/serverWebAdaptor", in_folder_type="EXISTING", in_folder="myfoldername")
result.getOutput(2) #this ends up being '' I'm trying to get the Portal Item ID of the map service that is published using the above service definition. Documentation says it should be available in the derived output (https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/tool-reference/server/upload-service-definition.htm). In fact every output is blank after the first 2. Any ideas what could be happening?

For us - this seems to be related to a self signed cert error. If using the Python API, GIS('myportalurl', username, password) fails with ssl validation error unless I add verify_cert=False as a parameter. The problem is, there is no way to do this using Arcpy.SignInToPortal, which is required for programmatically publishing services.

I'm working on a map where when a user clicks on a State, they get a chart of congressional district breakdown for that state. So far it's been easy, but I can't customize the colors of my pie chart colors. I would like to have red and blue slices for the district breakdown, but can't figure out how. Any ideas? Furthermore, anyone know how to have tooltips on the chart without hovering over a slice? var clicked = $feature.STATE_ABBR;
var districts = FeatureSetByName($map, "USA 118th Congressional Districts (All Territories)")
var f = Filter(districts, "STATE_ABBR = @clicked")
var party = GroupBy(f, "PARTY", {name: "count", expression: 'PARTY', statistic: "COUNT"});
var chartValues = {};
var chartTitles = [];
for (var blah in party){
chartValues[blah.PARTY]=blah.count
Push(chartTitles, blah.PARTY)

I've configured ArcGIS License Server Admin (2022.1) for concurrent use licensing for our Pro users. I'm trying to figure out how to get detailed usage information. In the debug log viewer, I see: This log is intended for debug purposes only. In order to capture accurate license usage data into an organized repository, please enable report logging. Use Flexera's software license administration solution, FlexNet Manager, to readily gain visibility into license usage data and to create insightful reports on critical information like license availability and usage. FlexNet Manager can be fully automated to run these reports on schedule and can be used to track license servers and usage across a heterogeneous network of servers including Windows NT, Linux and UNIX. However, I do not see any documentation on how to do this. Can anyone point me to the right direction here?
