Hi Phil, I have attached the files and this is the code I used in Collector (arcgis-survey123://?itemID=8939a1a1a90843f498f67942385b9d52&field:Name=&field:Town=). Maybe you can figure out what is going on from that. I’m trying to get data collection apps ready for use by the beginning of April so I can train the field workers on any new procedures. I have encountered another problem. I was able to copy and paste the Survey and Choices sheets of the XLS file into a new survey and upload it and get it to work. Only problem now, is that Survey 123 shuts down after about a minute of running. I get an error message that it has shut down and it asks me if I want to send a report. I have sent a couple now.

So creating a copy of the survey and republishing gets the same result. If I copy the Survey and the Choices sheets of the of the of the XLS file into a new survey and then publish it. It works fine. I feel like that should not be necessary, but it is a workaround. Hi Jon, -The device is Samsung Galaxy Note 4 with an OS 6.0.1, Survey 123 app is 3.3.64, Collector is version 18.0.3 -Survey 123 Connect is version 3.3.51 -This seems to be happening with all surveys. I tried it with the one I just edited and one that is older created last summer. -I have not copied and republished to test it yet. I will try later today and report back. -I am the survey author and logging into the device as the same user. Although, there is an odd message when I have opened this survey in a computer browser which tells me I’m not the author and can’t make entries to the form. Thank you. Hi Phil, I’m using Survey 123 Connect version 3.3.51 to create the survey, but I was trying to update it in 3.0.142. When I was unsuccessful at logging in to update it, I installed the newer 3.3.51. Collector is version 18.0.3, build 1033. Survey 123 app is 3.3.64. The device is a Samsung Note 4 with an OS 6.0.1. I have only tried downloaded the survey from the Download menu in the app while signed in. I have many areas that have spotty satellite connection so I need to have these forms offline. I have not tried downloading using the URL. Is this a new thing that is necessary? I am having a similar problem. I just updated a survey I used last year for the new season and downloaded it to my phone. When I tried to launch it through the collector map, it gave me a message that the survey had not been downloaded. It then attempts to download the survey and keeps the message at the bottom of the screen saying the survey has not downloaded. I have checked to see that the ID is correct and it is. I have deleted all the surveys from my phone and re-installed the app and downloaded the survey that was not opening and an older one that opened in an older version of the app (I have not used it since the app was updated a couple of times). They both give the same result as above.

I have always used the following code to open a survey from a collector feature: arcgis-survey123://?itemID=91806295bb024ff6a55cfebe6e029a41 In the past, this would open the survey on my device and I could fill in information. I have not been in the field for a few months and recently made a few changes to a survey. I checked to make sure this was the same code, which it was. I get a message from my device saying the survey has not been downloaded to my device, even though I just downloaded it 5 minutes before. I have deleted all my downloaded surveys, uninstalled the Survey 123 app and reinstalled it with the same result. Any ideas as to why this is happening?

This is a brand new computer with more power than the older ones I use this program on. I went to work with a ArcGlobe design and this is what I get every time I open it up. I have tried adjusting various cache and display settings, but nothings seems to effect it. The view pictured below flashes intermittently with a clear picture. Please help.

Hi Brandon, So the weird part about this is that even though I got an error message, it seems to have loaded the data onto the Survey 123 online site. At least from a preliminary look it is there. From the error message (attached picture) it seems I had duplicate key value. The XLSForm has not changed since I started using this in the beginning of October. I know all of you folks at ESRI are working to make these apps better work smoother, but it gets frustrating for us when we spend a day out in the field and then look at a glitch in the system which makes it difficult for us to then use the data we have collected. I’ve had to redesign the general form I took this from twice in the past 5 months to allow for changes made in the software. Any way to introduce an update and have the old version usable as a back-up? I am also having this same problem. I have been using the same form for about two months and only now encountered this problem. All my data is on an i-Pad, and I don't want to have to go repeat getting all the data. Any ideas how to get save the data I have collected?

Geopoints are no longer allowed in more than one field. I am no longer to use many of my forms as I would like to and the information is no longer retrievable even using the workaround mentioned above.

I do something like this, but it involves to devices. I run one with ArcCollector taking a track and the other has a Survey123 form I can take points with and document things. Unfortunately ESRI's data collection does not allow more than one service to use the GPS unit.
