Thanks for the response Robert. I feel like they should word that more clearly but anyway. I've created an app ID but now I'm having an issue with a "no token found" loop, so it looks like I still need to call Support. Sigh. Thanks again!

According to the directions for setting up Web AppBuilder Developer, you don't need an appID with an IWA Portal: But when I try to set up WAB Dev on our portal, it still asks for one: The instructions for setting up WAB Dev make it sound like it should skip this step and go directly to the login page. We still have some users using their built in Portal logins as we haven't moved everyone over yet, but I'm not sure that should make a difference. Someone I talked to at the DevSummit said there's supposed to be a property in the signininfo.json that recognizes it's web tier, but I don't have that file unless I create an appID, which I'm not supposed to need and round and round it goes. Any help is much appreciated. We have Portal for ArcGIS 10.6.1 and I'm trying to install the latest WAB 2.12. Thanks for your time, Emily

Sorry about the late response, but thanks for the tip. I believe our relationship is set up correctly and we can edit the webmap in Portal just fine. I'm going to put in a ticket for this and I'll post back here when we (hopefully) have answers. Thanks again!

I started playing around with the new Collector app a couple months ago. I really like the new interface and the labels in the web map. But I was having issues with related records I created not showing up after submitting them. A coworker found that the related records were being created, but without a Rel_GlobalID: I'm assuming Rel_GlobalID field is how Collector finds related records to display. Once the related records are created in another application, they display and work as expected. Any pointers on this issue would be appreciated. Thanks!

Yeah, I haven't tried the custom code yet, but even if it works it'd be nice to have this as an option.

Thanks, that should help in the future! But for now, is there anything else you can tell me about issues with related records in the new Collector app? Chad's the first person I've seen posting about this, but then I realize this version is still relatively new. One difference I see is that Chad is getting an error message and I'm not. It also looks like he's using AGO and our webmap is built in Portal.

They have GlobalID fields, and SESCInspections (the related table) has a Rel_GlobalID field. This setup works fine in the classic Collector app. It's just the new Collector where we're having issues with saving new related records. The iPads we're using are 6th generation running iOS 12.1.1 and using Verizon, if that helps. Going off on a bit of a tangent, it's possible this requires a support call, but I've only done Tech Support calls with issues on a desktop browser. Would you be able to tell me if/how Tech Support handles calls involving iPads?

The parent class is SESCLocations and the related table is SESCInspection. My supervisor set them up with SESCLocations having a 1 - M composite relationship with SESCInspection. I can ask him if there's another aspect of the relationship you need to know about.

I'm having an issue with related records which I posted about here. I'm afraid I haven't received a responses about this yet. It sounds familiar though, basically coming down to Collector not saving/creating new related records. It's a bummer because I also like the new look and feel.

I've been developing an application using Collector Classic for our Water Resources department. I have something that works with that, but I was pleased by some of the changes in the new app so I decided to try it. I really like a lot of it, but when I add a related inspection to the asset it doesn't save. I can add an inspection, fill out the form, take pictures and then submit. The new inspection is listed with the related records. If I leave this asset and then go back, the new one I created is no longer there. Signing out and in again doesn't make it appear. It also doesn't show up in the related records REST endpoint for the asset. This isn't an online map that needs to be synced and the documentation I read didn't mention anything about needing to save a record beyond hitting "Submit". Is anyone else having this issue? I'm building workflow in Geocortex for pictures that were taken in the field using the Collector app. Our users want to be able to cycle through the photos in the order in which they were taken, but since the ATTACH table which contains the photos doesn't have date/time info they just seem to be random and we can't show them in order. I would love to see this implemented!

I'm thinking your solution might be something we want to try with our similar issue, but I just wanted to clarify something: Is "arcgis" the name of your web adaptor? I'm still learning by feel when it comes to IIS and CORS and the whole nine yards.
