Robert Scheitlin, GISP Thank you, Robert, for your crystal clear explanation and cloning. Is there a specific reason why they had two folders "Client and Server". So does the server provide the final apps we create using Web App Builder in the apps folder? I even wondered about not finding my widget changes if we change in the stemapp folder during my early stages of using a web app builder developer edition. Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS: Customizing and Extending - YouTube Then I have watched the above video (14:00 onwards) and got to know how to use them in Dev Environment. I think the other approach is to copy the config file from Sample-configs and paste it in the Config folder. Then we pass in the config in the query parameters to reflect the real-time changes. Think its well explained in the video

Robert Scheitlin, GISP Thanks for letting me know about that Robert. In the future what would you suggest to be the best practice for deleting widgets once the testing is completed? Is it directly through the web app builder dev launcher console? http://machinename.domainname:3344/webappbuilder from here or from the widgets folder?? In addition, if we have one of our apps inside 2.14 version now and later 2.15 or 2.16 version comes in, do you suggest to upgrade the apps through the command line mentioned above or is it by importing these apps to the new web-app builder developer edition console?

Yes exactly. That's what I did. But I assume once I published for testing, the config.json would have been modified due to that. Directly deleting the widget would have caused some reference errors. Is that the issue you think?

I even tried downloading the app and importing it in the New WebApp Builder Version 2.14. But that didnt work either. It says failed to update.

Robert, Ok this time its a new error. Earlier I had a widget called Printplus widget and now I deleted it from the app since I am not using it. Did this by chance mess up my config.json file which might me causing this issue. So is that something causing this issue?

Robert Scheitlin, GISP Yes, it has everything. Its the same folder structure for both 2.12 and 2.14. Below are all the 3 folder structures.

I changed the path and enclosed the arcgis older wab in quotes. Is this the correct way?

Robert Scheitlin, GISP This might be a small fix. But I get this error when I use the syntax mentioned in the website for upgrading the apps Upgrade apps—Web AppBuilder for ArcGIS (Developer Edition) | ArcGIS for Developers Not sure what I am missing here.

Resolved it by rounding the number inside the Arcade expression itself rather than using ArcGIS Online Configure Attributes. Totally forced it to be a String.

Hi Robert, So they gave a workaround to use allow="geolocation" in the iframe, which eventually worked for me. Thank you so much for throwing light on this to me. Deprecate on-by-default Permissions in Cross-origin Iframes - Chrome Platform Status

Robert Scheitlin, GISP Irrespective of the template, I am not able to understand why this widget is not working even if we have our WebApp and the Website both coming from a secured HTTPS protocol. Any thoughts on this?

James Tedrick Thank you James. Once I removed the property('username') in the calculation, the survey worked fine on the Web too. Not sure if that is the main issue behind this.

I have created an Arcade expression to show the DateDiff in Days (Number data type). This works totally fine in ArcGIS Online Web Map. But when I use the Attribute Table widget in Web App Builder, the DateDiff is converted to String/Epoch Time and showing in decimals. It shows correctly in the pop-ups but I am not sure why it is showing a different data type in the attribute table widget. Here are some screenshots. (ArcGIS Web Map): (ArcGIS Web App Builder Attribute Table Widget): Pop-ups from Web Map are honored in Web App Builder without any issue. Is ArcGIS Online WebMap and Web App Builder using the same Javascript API version or not? Robert Scheitlin, GISP Appreciate if you have any inputs to deal with this. Thank you
