@MarlenaIsley @RandyCasey Thank you for your idea and feedbacks. We would like to know more details before considering this enhancement. Why are admins needing to switch between multiple users in Pro? Is there a specific workflow that requires this? Any additional information you can provide would be helpful. Thank you, Jonah

Hello, If you are sharing a map image layer, you can select the federated server where the service is published. However, web tile layers can only be published to your portal's hosting server. Best, Jonah

Hi Holly, I'm not exactly sure what you mean by the following: "Publishing the file from the Catalog pane results in a hosted image layer with a black background." Transparency should be maintained for raster layers shared as map image layers. After sharing a web imagery layer (image service), you can add it back to your map and change the transparency of that web layer. Does this work for you? Best, Jonah

Great! Happy to help. Just to further clarify, Pro has been designed to both share web layers to portals and publish services to stand-alone servers, but as separate workflows. This is why you didn't see an option to publish an image service in the Share As Web Layer pane. Best, Jonah

Hi Holly, To publish an image service from Pro, you will need to make a connection to a stand-alone ArcGIS Server site. See this help topic for more information: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/sharing/overview/publish-an-image-service.htm It looks like your active portal is ArcGIS Online. If you have ArcGIS Enterprise, you can share a web imagery layer which exposes a dynamic or cached image service. See this for more info: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/sharing/overview/web-image-layer.htm Best, Jonah

When overwriting a map image layer, the time zone and daylight saving options will come from the existing map image layer (this is the default). However, we cannot support this same behavior when overwriting web feature layers at this time due to limitations with how the time zone is stored. (The original time zone is not stored after data is converted to the time zone specified.)

With ArcGIS Pro 3.0, your profile photo now displays in the application. While this may not meet the exact requirement request, adding a profile picture may help to differentiate between the different active portals.

I was able to successfully share the web scene with ArcGIS Pro 3.0. The web scene layers were published as well. It looks like the first layer failed to publish. Did you configure the web scene layer to cache locally? If sharing is still not working for you, you may need to reach out to technical support for best assistance.

While not necessarily specific to the Overwrite Web Layer dialog box, you might find this topic helpful: https://pro.arcgis.com/en/pro-app/latest/help/projects/available-online-resources.htm Much of the content is the same, so hopefully it helps.

Hi @Anonymous User, Administrators of ArcGIS organizations should be able to overwrite web layers beginning at ArcGIS Pro 2.6. Are you not able to see the web layer when signed in as an admin? Or are you getting an error when overwriting? Thanks, Jonah
