I've looked through what Survey123 documentation I can find and haven't found any example where you can show a field/question using an OR expression. For example: show Question 1 if FieldA = 1 OR FieldA = 2. I would think this is possible, but maybe not...?

I created an ArcGIS Pro project template, added it to our ArcGIS Online for Organizations site and then shared it to our Organization. I expected to see it on start up within ArcGIS Pro, but I don't. Any ideas on why it doesn't show?...am I missing a step somewhere?

I talked with customer support at Esri and they said keeping SDE at 10.3.x is fine, but recommended enabling READ_COMMITTED_SNAPSHOT on the Sql database. FYI, our environment is Windows Server 2012 R2 OS and SQL Server 2014 Standard. We haven't had any issues with people editing in 10.4.1 Desktop using a 10.3.x SDE gdb.

sbritt-esristaff, The locator seems to work fine in ArcMap, but not within a web application. We have found that using the same locator published to a 10.4.1 Server works as expected, i.e. locates the address correctly.

I have a quick question about upgrading a Sql Server SDE gdb to 10.4.1. We plan on upgrading all our Desktop users and production Server to 10.4.1, and I'm wondering if it's necessary to upgrade our sde gdbs to 10.4.1 as well? Our sde gdbs are currently at version 10.3. I was reading through the What's New at 10.4.1 docs and came across this section on gdbs and databases. We currently have users that are using Desktop 10.4.1 and our sde gdbs are still at 10.3. I'm wondering what is recommended for our sde gdbs? Should we upgrade them to 10.4.1 or manually enable READ_COMMITTED_SNAPSHOT? Just wondering what the best practice would be? Is there any 'downside' to not upgrading the gdb to 10.4.1? Is it best practice to keep your client version and gdb versions the same? Thanks in advance!

We have a composite geocode service that is not properly locating address points. If I enter an address within the search bar of one of our apps built with WAB, the address will show in the suggestions, but if I click on it, I will be taken to somewhere that is not the address that's listed. And, in some cases, the address is not listed at all in the suggestions box. There are other locators within the composite locator that are working, for example, one of the locators allows the ability to search by parcel number. This locator is working fine. Another allows you to search by place name, and again, this one is working fine. I have already deleted and re-created the address point locator (with Suggestions enabled), and re-published the service. Still getting the same results where addresses are not locating properly. System Details ArcGIS Desktop 10.3 ArcGIS Server 10.3 Address locator style = US Single House with Subaddress Below are a couple sample searches. The first 2 screenshots show that when searching for an address, it appears that the suggestion is finding the address, but will take you to the wrong location. The second 2 screenshots demonstrate that the locator using place locations is working. Any ideas what the issue is with our address locator and why it is not working properly?...why it's not locating at the correct location? 1) Searching for 1801 Whispering Pines Ct SW Cedar Rapids IA --- shows in the suggestions box. 2) Search result when I click on the suggestion. I'm taken to 1720 Whispering Pines Ct SW. 1) Searching for Linn County Community Services Building --- shows in suggestions box. Search fails. 2) Search result takes me to the correct location. Search works.

Rachael, You can use symbol layer drawing. Highlight the layer in the TOC, then go to the Symbology properties, and in the top right hand corner choose Advanced. There you will have the option to enable symbol layer drawing. From there, you can right-click on the bottom level and send it to a new level. You can see in the screenshot below, I grouped all bottom cases into a level. That should accomplish the casing.

Not sure how many people are actively using ArcGIS Pro versus just dinking around with it to see what it's about. But, once I started using it more often, I find the scale based symbology and the alternate symbols (available in the 1.3 release) are great tools for minimizing the number of layers within a map. However, once implementing the scale based symbology, I now have a lot of label classes to go along with the different symbol levels, which is the main reason I'd like to see something like this implemented. Even more so, I wish there was an option to at least copy an existing label class. It's really annoying to have to start from scratch every time you create a label class in ArcGIS Pro.

This is possible with the latest WAB on AGOL. I'm assuming this is within WAB Developer Edition 2.1, released in July 2016. The screenshot below is showing a related table within the Attribute Table widget. The last column contains a hyperlink to a PDF document. The app was made with WAB inside AGOL, so I can't confirm if using WAB Developer Edition.

This seems to have cleared itself up if I remove the alternate symbol, and then re-apply it after the symbol layer drawing is enabled.

Does anyone know if it's possible to have symbol level drawing enabled for alternate symbols in ArcGIS Pro 1.3? For example, I have a road layer that is symbolized with casing up to a certain scale and then I switch the color scheme to something more neutral at a smaller scale. When I zoom out to the smaller scale, the symbol levels are not longer being honored.

Chase Carter, I'm by far a Sql expert, but you can disable the option in SSMS to prevent saving changes that require table re-creation, as highlighted in the screenshot below. If this is disabled, you can re-arrange fields within a table without having to drop and re-create the table. Esri would probably not support or condone such an action, but as the many previous posts have mentioned, it's a nice-ity to have the field arranged as desired when adding to ArcMap/ArcGIS Pro...and this is something I personally will do if I have added a field to a feature class/table that I'd like shown elsewhere in the table order.

I think it would be nice if ArcGIS Pro had scale-based labeling, similar to scale-based symbology. If a user desires to enable scale-based labeling, a slider bar is generated for similar to the scale-based symbology. A user can then easily alter the label size like they can with scale-based symbology.

Thanks Chris! I actually kind of like this idea because it will give us surrounding area imagery without having to create a map / tile cache of our own imagery. So, is the issue the base layer (bottom layer within the base map group)? Does that control how the other layers are requested? I appreciate the insight!

A couple follow up questions then... 1) If I moved the feature label map service out of the base map group, would that 'fix' the problem? 2) In general, can image services be used as a base map?
