Mobile apps need a splash screen by design. If you do not want to display anything specific make sure the splash screen image and overlay property is empty in appinfo.json in your app. "resources": { "appIcon": "assets/images.png", "launchImageBackground": "", "launchImageBackgroundColor": "#ffffff", "launchImageOverlay": "" },

Good question, this seems like a simple requirement. One way to get started is to look at the "Quick Report" template which does online/offline simple data collection with or without photos. This will give you a good idea as to what can be done. Quick Report 1.3 template demo (NEW) - YouTube or read the blog post here Updates to Quick Report in 1.3 There are also lots of samples available in the product when you click on "New App" that gives you examples of how to interact with the feature service and add/edit features. Hope this helps. If you are attending Devsummit in Palm Springs this year then you could also take advantage of the two-day workshop "Build Native Apps using AppStudio for ArcGIS" - March 5–6, 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. - Hard Rock Hotel Pre-Summit Hands-on Training | 2017 DevSummit

Dustin, Can you share your experience with 1.3 Quick Report template in this thread and if it resolved all the requirements you had. Also, we are working towards 1.4 version with support for secured feature services, support for collecting lines and polygons, more UI refinements, photo annotation and editing and better data entry. Please let us know if you want us to work on some feature that might be missing. -Sathya cc: NManocha-esristaff

Hi Regina, In the new Quick Report lots of changes and enhancements have gone in and you can read and learn about it in this blog post: https://community.esri.com/groups/appstudio/blog/2017/01/02/updates-to-quick-report-in-13 For the map related question now the Quick Report template supports WebMap. In the settings please provide a publicly available WebMap id and the template will show the map (as shown in the video above). So you do not need to copy over any files from the older version. I ran your application in AppStudio and was able to see topographic map in the map page (see attached screenshot). In your application the web map id is d5e02a0c1f2b4ec399823fdd3c2fdebd and its showing the correct map. If you want to use your own web map with your layers in them just replace the id in appinfo.json or using settings tool. Hopefully this helps. If I have misunderstood your problem please records a short video and post it.

This is a bug, as you noticed this is purely there to help developers debug the app. This should not have been visible, somehow slipped through. Thanks for pointing it out, we will fix it shortly.

Not possible. Currently in 10.2.x runtime the label support is rudimentary.

AppStudio team and the ArcGIS Runtime team are looking into this issue. We will update soon. Just to clarify: Only new apps and update to existing apps submitted on Google Play (after Sept 2016) will be affected by this announcement. Current apps will continue to be available and users can search and download. They have given us sufficient time to handle the issue.

A) there is a place in the qml code to embed a username and password and have the app automatically sign into ArcGIS Online when opened Technically yes its possible. According to the portal license agreement please be aware that you cannot embed named-user credentials in your app inside of your code (i.e. you cannot write an app using one named user account embedded and multiple people use the same app without logging in). You will have to ask each user to log in and then you can persist the credentials until the user logs out. B) if the was a way to automatically download a survey when the user logs in? Not part of the product, requires customization but its very do-able. If you see how a survey is being downloaded now you will get an idea (DownloadSurveysPage.qml)
