What build number are you on? If you are on 10.1 final, you should be seeing your Hosted Services on that page. I remember that at pre-release, you needed to do an extra step- When you click the Sign In button, click Manage Connections in the bottom of the window. You then need to copy and paste the URL to your organizational account from arcgis.com. Save this, then sign in, then you should be able to use "My Hosted Services." This should be automatic at 10.1 final.

You need to get an ArcGIS Online for Organizations account. The Getting Started help article touches on this. If you go to arcgis.com, you could sign up for a 30 day free trial for now. Once you have an organizational account, you can Sign In through the File Menu in ArcMap. Then, after you choose to publish a service, you can select My Hosted Services as the connection (your second screenshot). Hope this helps!

Hi John, This should be in your ArcTutor data, which should install to <C:\ArcGIS\ArcTutor\Geocoding> by default. If you do not have ArcTutor data or do not see this one specific file, you might want to try re-downloading the data. You can get it in the Software Downloads section of your Customer Care Portal.

Hi Angela, Could you please elaborate on what you mean by you 'tried to create from file' instead? I tried the workflow at 10.0 and this is not an issue (tested with a table of 11 columns). Perhaps you could try saving the Excel file as a DBF and then add it to ArcMap through the Add Data button. Then, select to Add table to Layout from within the Attribute Table (Table Options) as a workaround.

Hi Anthony, Could you clarify on this? Do you have vectors created from a DEM or are you trying to add elevation values into an existing point feature class?

Not sure on the specific topo map you are referencing, but a good place to check is the GeoSpatial Data Gateway. Select the three counties you are wanting and click submit. There is a topographic raster image, along with a 10 m DEM from the National Elevation Dataset. You could generate contours and whatnot from this DEM. Otherwise, the "Get Your Free Raster Data Here!" has some good links to raster data sources.

Hi Ron, There is no .exe in that location for you? Perhaps when it was installed on your machine, a different location was specified on the "Destination Folder" page. By default it should go to C:\Program Files\Explorer.

What is the coordinate system you are assigning? It is important that you do not set it to what you ultimately want your data to be in, but what the data are collected in. Based on the numbers you gave, you must assign it to a Geographic Coordinate System (likely WGS 1984 or NAD 1983). Once you get it displaying correctly, you can export out to a new feature class and use the Project tool to project to a projected coordinate system (PCS), such as UTM or State Plane, and this will convert your data to a linear unit such as feet or meters. The only reason I can see it saying meters instead of dd would be that it was assigned a PCS instead of GCS when using Display XY.

Hi Angela, First off, here is the help page for the CAD to Geodatabase tool. The most likely reason that it is lining up with your imagery is that your data frame coordinate system is set to whatever the CAD data are referencing as well, so even though there is not defined coordinate system, it should still line up in this case. There may also be a .wld file in the folder where the DGN is stored. This is similar to a .prj file in a shapefile. I would try exporting the CAD drawing from the table of contents to see if that works. As a test, right click the line drawing, select Data > Export Data and select an output location. Finally, it sounds like you aren't sure if it even ran correctly. I would check your results window. If you are working in a saved MXD, this will save your results from running geoprocessing tools. If you worked in an untitled MXD and closed it out without saving, the results will not be saved. Hope some of this helps. Luke

Just a thought, but if you open the Extract by Mask tool, click the Environments button, then click Raster Analysis, does it look like the output cell size is set to something different? Perhaps it is picking up the cell size from the mask feature?

I'm not familiar with how your data are all set up, but could you concatenate the two fields together using the Field Calculator? You could do this by creating a new Text field, opening the Field Calculator and making an expression that said [Field1] & "" & [Field2]. Then you could symbolize based on Categories. Sorry if this isn't what you are looking for, but I figured I would give it a shot. -Luke

Hi Michelle, You should be able to edit your feature-linked annotation in editing mode just as your other geodatabase annotations. If you have map annotation (select to store in the Map instead of In a Database when converting from Labels to Annotation), then you edit those with the drawing toolbar. If you are certain the annotations are stored in a geodatabase and you cannot edit them, try adding them to a new, blank MXD to see if this works. If this doesn't work, then perhaps you can try to recreate your feature linked annotation to see if the new dataset works.
