Hi @Andrew-Bowne , Thank you for the feedback. Yes you're correct, this is as-designed behavior to only copy over the values from editable attribute fields that are within the popup of the source feature and are also editable in the target feature. The main reason for this behavior is due to the fact that because read-only fields by their very nature are not editable, even during manual (non-Copy) editing workflows, that the Copy process follows this same logic to prevent copying over and adding values to read-only fields for target features. This also applies to hidden fields as well. i.e. those fields that were hidden from the editable popup display during the popup configuration. Therefore the fields for the source and target features needs to be editable and visible to support copying the values between them. Thank you. - Kevin

Hi @SheldonBina2, Thank you for the feedback. Currently by default, the units for Z-values stored with the feature geometry is in meters this is due to the NMEA standard also sending the elevation values in meters. ArcGIS Field Maps doesn't currently have support for performing vertical datum transformations to the desired vertical coordinate systems and in the desired units of feet. This is functionality that's on the road map to be supported in a future release. In this scenario because you've captured features using the Geoid18 gravity model from Zeno Connect and have confirmed the values themselves are correct, just in meters instead of feet using NAVD88, you could use the Project geoprocessing tool to perform a vertical datum transformation to output to the NAVD88 ft VCS in Pro. This will require the Coordinate System Data to be installed for ArcGIS Pro. - Have you configured a RTK correction source within Zeno Connect? Thanks -Kevin

@BrendanMadden FYI, I created a new GeoNet account and will be removing the Kevin-Esri one I used in our chat history above. (Our conversation history will remain as-is) Therefore if you have further questions, please @ mention me via this user name. Thank you.

Hi Molly, When creating an offline map area, the filter applied to the layer(s) within the web map are included within the createReplica operation and therefore reside within the local copy of the offline area. Therefore in order to leverage any updated filter changes to those layers, new offline areas will need to be downloaded as this isn't included within the sync operation. Thanks -Kevin

Hi Katharina, Just wanted to circle back on this one. The reason why the new collection wasn't initiated in Collector on Windows via your URL scheme above, is because the featureAttributes parameter wasn't implemented on that OS. It was implemented and works successfully on iOS and Android, as you've already noted above from your testing on iOS. A few questions: - Is the Windows OS your preferred OS for field data collection? - What type of Windows devices do you work with? Thank you -Kevin

Hi Leif, In addition to the question Katherine asked, I have a few more: - Which platform are you using? Windows/iOS/Android - What version of Collector are you using? - When you configured your feature services editing capabilities, does it support full editing or update attributes only? - What type of tablet are you working with? Thanks -Kevin

Hi Yuying Li, A few questions for you: - You mentioned that this recently started happening. Were any changes or software upgrades performed on your end between the time it worked successfully and now? - Are you working with ArcGIS Online hosted feature services, ArcGIS Enterprise hosted feature services, or ArcGIS Server (non-federated) services? - Just to clarify, even though the sync error happens, the edits do get synchronized to the server? - Is this reproducible on both new and existing feature services? - Is it unique to only a single feature service? Thank you -Kevin

Hi Hayleigh, Sorry for the delay in my response. Can you please explain how you're creating these VTPK's? In your screenshot above, it's strange that the visible range is 1 to 1. Thank you -Kevin

Thank you for that information and clarification Doug! As another potential way you can approach this, might be to use the preplanned offline areas for the web map. You can create a web map with all the necessary layers in it and then create the individual preplanned areas. Then all the field user has to do is download them. Provided the work areas are known. This way, all the heavy computing is done in the office to create these areas and not in the field. Thanks -Kevin

Hi Hayleigh, Thank you for the information. In your Portal, if you go to the item details page > Settings for any of the hosted tiled layers, there should be a check box at the bottom of the page called 'Offline Mode'. This allows the tiles to be exported for offline use. That setting is per tiled service. When all tiled layers in the web map support offline mode individually, then the web map should display the option for offline mode as well. Thank you. -Kevin

Thank you Hayleigh and Doug, Perhaps you can clarify this a bit more for me. According to the testing I've performed when creating a web map in ArcGIS Online, I am able to add additional vector tile layers as operational layers and not just as a basemap. In Collector, because those are now listed as layers, they can be toggled off/on, just like you would any other layer that was editable. I also verified that this works successfully when downloading a map for offline use. In my simple test case, I created a new web map that used the default Esri Topo Basemap, the vector version. I then added another custom vector tile service that I created along with an editable point layer as operational layers. This worked successfully in Collector. I was able to turn the vector tile layer off and see the underlying basemap. Could you please clarify my understanding with what you're requesting and what I explained above that is currently available? I just want to make sure I am fully understanding the scenario. Are you saying that want to be able have multiple VTPK's/TPK's local to the device and then add them as layers directly into the map in Collector? Thank you -Kevin

Hi Hayleigh, Thank you for the information. Just for clarification, you have multiple separate hosted vector tile services that you want to add to a single basemap. Is that correct? These individual vector tile services will get created from the one large one you currently have now. Is that correct? Basically just breaking it up into smaller chunks. Are there field users that would use a different vector tile service basemap depending on the area they are working in? In general when creating web maps in ArcGIS Online/ArcGIS Enterprise, while only a single basemap group(which could contain several individual layers) can be applied, you can still add additional tiled services to the web map map as operational layers. This will then give the user the ability to toggle those layers on/off in the Collector app to show different information. As long as all the individual tile services support exporting tiles, the map should be able to be downloaded for offline use. Thank you -Kevin

Thank you for all that great information Lance. I am going to apply this information to try and reproduce this issue on my end. Also I will sync up with the analyst you're working with to try and prevent dual efforts. Another variable in this equation is that ArcGIS Online was also recently updated this week as well, which might also be contributing to this behavior. At this point, my assumption is that whatever is causing this issue has nothing to do with the version of iOS or the receiver directly. I hope to get outside between today and tomorrow to test this out, but I will follow-up with my results. If I cannot reproduce this issue using my data, would you be able to share a map with me to test against? I don't suspect it's data related, but this would just be another variable to remove. Thanks -Kevin
